Very Good
Location and facilities
We were there on a really busy weekend and there was not enough underground parking spaces. We had to park a few blocks away illegally.

Exceptional
Shortly before I arrived, I found out that my family member was dying, so when I came in I was having a hard time speaking to the staff about checking in. They noticed my distress and proceeded to let me check in early into an incredible room and were very kind to me during my visit. The amenities were wonderful and I highly recommend staying here while in Banff. Thank you guys for being so nice to me during this tough time. It helped a lot.

Wonderful
The breakfast was very well done, hot and delicious. The coffee was very above average in taste and quality. The staff at the breakfast were very attentive and cleanliness was perfect .
The heated parking was convenient and fit our above height truck.
The best part of the stay was the comfort of the bed and bedding, and the ambiance and decor was top quality.
Pricing was slightly above what would have preferred to pay for this quality of hotel at this time of year.

Wonderful
We loved the breakfast area and the smores area at the back. And our room was very nice with a very beautiful view of the mountains and other properties. We loved it.
Well it's not bad but personally I don't like outdoor hot tub especially on winter time but maybe others like it.

Great communication asking if I needed anything before I came. Followed up after I moved in. Good location with bus stops in front. Nice little coffee/bar/snack shop that was manned.
The breakfast was a bit underwhelming.

Beautiful space and friendly staff from checkin to checkout and everyone in between. The distance to centre town was acceptable as we like to hike but also the bus passes came in so handy. We really appreciated those when we went out for supper!! Having a snack bar open late in the day was wonderful too! We ate smoked meat and had a drink watching the olympics in the lounge which was great !!! Very warm and inviting hotel and we hope to be back!! We are hoping to make this a twice a year trip for ourselves!! We enjoyed Banff and the Canalta just made it that much better. Thank you to all that made that happen !!!! Vicki and Mike L
The balcony could have been a bit bigger as it was hard to sit out there. We paid for the balcony upgrade but it was probably ok for one person but not two. The lighting in the rooms could have been brighter. The bathroom had very warm lighting. Not good at all for makeup application or any function using the mirror!! The only way to get more lighting
was opening the blinds but you sacrificed privacy for that

Wonderful
We loved the aesthetic, heated parking garage, free breakfast and amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful, as well. Our room was comfortable and spacious and decorated with fun details. It’s about a 20 min walk to downtown and in the warmer weather it would be very easy to do. It’s a little far in the sub freezing temps. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that allowed skiers easy access to the slopes and others to town if you choose to use it. Though the hot tubs were busy at the times we wanted to use them, they are a nice touch, as well. There’s also a cold plunge and sauna. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was very good. The location was pretty good, not a close walk to the business district of Banff.
We signed up for a king room and we got the super large family suite
