Nothing really. The location is next to the Nauti Crab bar and there was some music and chatter noise in the evening. That doesn't bother me but if you prefer total quiet then you might want to stay further north on the island.

The ethics of the owners, and the management company. Here’s the detailed version. In this post-Covid travel world, there is uncertainty. All other places we stayed in our two country, two week vacation were accommodating, save this place. Others honored same day cancellation due to flight mishaps. Gave this place a full 7 days notice of flight cancellation. Told them we could no longer use the room due to American Airlines flight cancellation. They told me tough and “that’s what travel insurance is for” and charged my card immediately, despite the fact that at that time, they knew I couldn’t use the room. This was after them urging me to quickly book another night with them “before someone snaps it up” for well above nightly rates listed on booking.com. Our flight was changed by AA 3 additional times (yes, they are having issues) and we ended up staying here only because they wouldn’t refund my money. Turns out, after talking with others staying at that place, they haven’t paid the guy who does everything for them for over a month because they’re building more on the island and “can’t afford to pay him”. The island is small and the place we got a pizza last night said they know the owners (who are from England) and they are royal jerks. Matched up with our experience. They also said for the price we paid $165 for one night, it should be a first class experience and accommodations. Most places here go for about $60/night for 3 adults. About the place—lipstick on the pig. Fresh paint, newer look inside, but don’t let that fool you. Shoebox size unit with leaky windows (hot air seeps right through in the bathroom and main living area) and dated shower which my hubby said kind of spit on you the water pressure was so low. Door key in rusted lock is so tricky to use, so that I’m told some tenants had to call the maintenance guy for help locking and unlocking their units. For such a small place, the cooling unit should have made the place comfortable for sleeping.
