There is old type of television set and picture quality is not good. That needs an upgrade, some channels did not have volume

The noise at night requested iron and ironing board and I was told to come fetch it at reception. there was no coffee, no sweetners(eg Canderel). Room was booked for 2 but the accessories was for a single individual The worst was being asked to provide an alternative card or go to an ATM to get cash to pay for the booking..this happened because my Diners international card needed to be processed manually and the receptionist was not willing to go through all that...they should communicate such information so prior arrangements can be made to process the card before check in...imagine what would have happened if I didn't have another card to use abroad.

The hotel staff simply do not care, I didn't meet any single staff that had a smile or was polite all of them seemed really unhappy to be attending to me. There is a particular male staff that was exceptionally rude, I was talking to him about getting a taxi to drop me at the airport and he was watching a very loud video on his phone, he did not even bother to lift his eyes while responding to me, I just walked away and called another taxi . He is the same one who was on duty was I arrived, while taking me to my room, he walked infront of me, I was having two heavy suitcases and a laptop bag and he didn't bother to offer to help. That was very weird. Before my arrival, I wrote to them three emails through booking.com to arrange my airport pick-up, none was responded to. I looked for their contact information on their website and wrote three other emails without a response, the phone numbers thay provided both on booking.com and on their website were not going through. I had to pick a taxi at the airport to take me to the hotel which was very risky since my flight landed at 9pm and it was my first time in the country. I would have been more relaxed if they send the airport pick-up which they mention on the booking. About the facilities, the night of my arrival, the wifi was completely off, it was fixed in the morning but remained unstable throughout my entire stay. The pool at the grandpalm was very dirty the first three days I was there, it was cleaned later but I had lost interest in swimming. The shower area is very small and can only be adjusted when you are standing right below it, prepare to be drenched with ice cold water. On my last time, there was no towel in my room, I called the reception, no-one picked, I had to walk there only to be told that there were no towels left, I was given a small floor towel to use.

Aircon sounds like a generator too old industrial aircon. No breakfast at this Hotel and you have to go to Neighbor Hotel for all your meals. Mould around the shower needs attention.

When I was there the lift didn’t work and I had to carry my own bags up and down the stairs. The woman at the front desk offered to help which I appreciate but I didn’t want to take her away from her job as there were people needing her assistance as well. The property is also very far away from other attractions in the city, it shouldn’t be priced nearly as much as it is. Additionally, the heat didn’t work in the room. I was very cold.

I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE BREAKFAST IN THE INN.
