Reception area and the staff were courteous
It was not worth the money. The rooms were old and under renovation. The wooden floorings had dry paint on it and it was even smelling. To top it up, the heater was not that great which was a necessity

Rooms are big enough most important is the view from the room was breathtaking. Hotel is situated in the heart of thimphu town next to clock tower. Food was really good. Service was prompt. You won't forget the big smile of every staff.
We faced power cut during our stay for 3-4 hours which was difficult to climb up the stairs up to the 4th floor but it got resolved soon. Also the TV was not working for first day but rectified the same on the next day.

The room was clean and spacious for 2 people.
There was no hot water for the shower... We requested the reception guys, they said us to wait for 30mins and check. But the water was not hot even after waiting for an hour. There was only limited options for the breakfast.

The food was excellent and hygienic. The location was exotic, being at the heart of Thimpu - all facilities were easily available at stones throw distance. The staff was exceptionally helpful and bore the brunt of the management flaws.
1. We stayed at third floor. The Bathtub leaks from the bottom onto the Bathroom floor, flooding the bathroom as soon as we start bathing. The drainage is poorly designed, thereby making it impossible for the water to drain out by gravity. The staff is so co operative that they rush to manually clean up the bathroom floor as soon as a complaint is received. 2. The pressure setting on the Pressure pump was too high(at least about 4 psi), thereby resulting in severe wastage of water, especially Hot water. This is not an eco friendly method of management.

First and foremost the location. Right in the center of the city, very near to the Clock Tower. Rooms with a view of the mountains are great value for money.

Almost everything. Very cooperative staffs. Nice location and comfortable beds.
