Very quiet and nice room. Spacious and great layout.
Bit of a walk to the main action - casino and most restaurants. Ice maker did not work on my floor - had to go down one level to get ice. Had to go down to ground floor and outside
to get distilled water.

The staff first off was amazing. 98% of everyone was super kind and helpful. Always smiling and saying hi.
Oh boy. Where do I start ? Well, upon entry to the room, it was disgusting. I personally had to deep clean the bathroom as there was a film of thick urine from who knows how many guests on the inside of the toilet lid. The room smelled of mildew the entirety of our week long stay. The shower head was moldy and the pillows, couch, outdoor furniture and indoor chairs were stained and disgusting. I didn’t even feel like I could sit on them without a towel. Underneath our fridge was cakes moldy and dry food. Now, with that being said, I did mention it the first day and those three issues were remedied. However, we got turned down service only two of the seven days which were supposed to include free waters.. never got those. Even after mentioning it to the manager, we still did not get turn down service for three nights in a row.. the property itself smelled very badly, which other guests indicated as well. The beach chairs that were supposed to be for the reef and Cove guests only were obviously a free-for-all, 85% of them were broken and disgustingly dirty, which shows that none of them are cleaned properly or maintained. At first, we were very excited to go to sea glass at the Cove to have caviar and martinis and to our dismay we were served martinis in a Tumblr glass while everyone else around us had martini glasses. And then we were looked at like jerks, asking to have our Martini in a martini glass. Not to mention the service around the pool and the beach area is pretty much nonexistent. We saw one person who asked us one time if we wanted an overpriced canned cocktail. In our 7 days on property. The only solar we found for good food was leaving the property…

I love how gorgeous the ground were outside between all of the hotels; I loved walking through and seeing all the different ponds and fish and lush gardens!
I wish there was more of an option for a quick eat at the reef. Yes, there was a Starbucks – but that’s very limited. In a resort this large and for what we are paying, there should be more of an option for food at each hotel. I also wish there were more casual areas where you could get drinks instead of just B-Side by the pool. (I realize that the other locations have very many places – especially by Aqua adventure I just need specifically in between the Cove and the reef.) I know the SeaGlass is right there – but with a child, that’s not really somewhere you can go and hang.

Housekeeping staff and front desk staff were very friendly and did a good job. Beach and pool convenient and clean. Shuttle bus drivers were great. Servers at the beach and pool for drinks were good. Loved the water park rapid river and the aquarium.
People leaving their towels on beach and pool chairs when they were not returning. Courtyard music by pool was loud all night and could hear it in the room when trying to sleep. We notified staff twice and it was never lowered or turned off the entire night. Took a long time to find the lockers at the water park. Directions and signs were not helpful.

Our initial stay was at The Coral, and we were very unhappy with our experience. The room was unclean, and the bed was unacceptable. Upon our arrival, we had a room booked from the previous day due to a missed flight. We checked in at 1:30 PM, exhausted from flying since 4 AM. We were initially informed the room would be ready within 30 minutes, but this changed to an hour. Ultimately, we were unable to check in until after 4 PM. We find it unacceptable to pay for a room that was not available on our arrival day. We requested a refund, which was denied. We feel The Coral has taken our money for a room we were unable to use. Following our week at The Coral and the unsatisfactory room conditions, we had to extend our stay for a few additional days due to inclement weather. Our stay at The Reef was much better; the staff was excellent, and the room was comfortable and functional. We would like to return to Atlantis and stay at The Reef. However, if we do not receive compensation for the issues at The Coral, we will consider other resorts closer to the airport

Exceeded my expectations as we have traveled to an Outland many times before and I was not sure that I was going to going to enjoy myself. It did not feel crowded or commercialized as I thought that it would. Staff was great and those that cleaned our room went beyond, they were great. Everyone very helpful. Loved the shuttle service.
Honestly the only drawback for me was not anything that you can change and that was that there were no matter waves as I was used to in the out island but it did not keep me from enjoying g myself.

That property is beautiful, grounds well kept. The way marine life is incorporated into everything is exceptional. Kids had a blast
Rooms at the Reefs are big and comfortable but are a little tired.
Booking reservation said the room had ocean views. It didn’t. They didn’t honor this but offered and upgrade to harbor view. The harbor view was beautiful so I didn’t mind. The stove was broken from day 1 and they took a whole day to fix the situation. Jenni the second manager was very innericient. The next Dwight was very helpful and nice and finally solved the issue. Staff some vas extremely nice and other extremely rude.

Everything at The Reef was perfect. It's not cheap but the place is worth it. The staff are friendly and professional, from the bus boys to the check-in/reception desk people, to the wait staff, pool staff, porters, etc. The location is gorgeous, away from the hustle and bustle of the casino area. Beach is immaculate, well serviced with chairs, day-beds, etc. Room was spacious with a full kitchenette stocked with coffeemaker, kettle, microwave, hob, ware, glasses, mugs, etc. Huge bathroom with tub and shower. All pristine.

First time to the Bahamas. The Reef was everything we needed plus more! Very cozy and clean. We loved the access to the beach and pool, the full kitchen with essential dishes, daily Keurig refills (w accessories to make coffee), and the Starbucks in the lobby! Also loved having the water refill station right outside the back door to pool, the SUPER friendly staff, and last but definitely not least, the provided laundry facilities! If I ever went back, i would not even need to look at other hotels on Atlantis grounds because this had everything.
The toilets were running constantly...this is an older resort so that is understandable. I had one fixed but didnt realize the second until after repair guy came and went. It didnt really bother me...just little wasteful. Light underneath the microwave to the stovetop was out (bad bulb)...could have been better with some light there, but this was minimal.

Once in the resort, everything was convenient and we were able to shuttle to other hotels. The food was really good by the pool and the restaurants were excellent.
