Room was well worth the money spent.
One gets what you pay for. This is not a luxury resort but it served my needs

Everything but the Barry Guy.
What's the sense of having a pool if the kids can't swim. The Barry guy keeps running them out the pool ..NOT HAPPYYYYY

Disappointing
THE LOCATION WAS CLOSE TO THE BEACH AREA.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD WAS QUIET .
THE SPACE WAS SMALL AND THE LINEN WAS ORDINARY
THE LOCATION OF THE ROOM WAS IN THE BACK AWAY FROM THE OTHER GUESTS

I was allowed to check in an hour early, and the hotel let me stay in the same room even though I had booked different ones. The receptionists were very attentive—special thanks to Samantha, who checked on my needs via WhatsApp. The room was spotless, and complimentary cocktails were offered in the evening.
There were no hangers in the room. The fan and iron were not working, and the can opener was rusty and non-functional—which was inconvenient given the in-room mini kitchen. Although the hotel had already agreed to let me remain in the same room, a receptionist named Ramus hadn't reviewed the messages from the previous shift and mistakenly asked me to leave my room. This was resolved, but it caused unnecessary confusion. Breakfast started 20 minutes later than scheduled, which was critical since I had to leave for the airport.

Pleasant
Excellent staff! Samantha works the Oasis desk, and she was great. Got me in my room quickly and was super helpful. There's another desk for Colony Inn and Suites in the same office; a woman working there (her third day on the job) was fantastic, very friendly, even though she was learning the job. Another woman working the Colony desk the next day was going out of her way to be rude, as in, gave absolutely zero f's. She should look for another job...
The breakfast staff was also super friendly and accommodating, and Barry was lovely to chat with. For $8.50, I had a waffle and the kitchen cooked up some eggs and sausage. It was good! Coffee was also nice and strong. A friendly cat was wandering around and happily accepted pets.
The room was huge and clean, with lots of space to hang clothes, including a dresser for extra storage. The grounds are also very cute with lots of tropical garden vibes. A chair swing was located right outside my room, where I had my morning coffee. I slept well, which was most important to me.
The pool is not properly maintained. It was quite murky-looking and smelled like they were maybe using bleach instead of proper chemicals (cannot confirm that).
There was a water flow issue at the bathroom sink, and no hot water in the shower.
Wifi was *technically* connected but did not work, so I had to disconnect and use my cellular data.
The hotel is right next to other private residences, situated between homes, where one house was blasting music. I did ask the person to turn it down and they did so without any trouble.
The 3-prong fridge plug was plugged into a 2-prong extension cord with burns and melting at the plug, so they should fix that!
Even with all these little negatives, I would actually stay here again because the price was so good compared to other hotels. Downtown is a 30-minute walk each way and the neighborhood felt safe, though I did not venture out at night

I keep coming back mainly because of the warm welcome from the front desk agent, Samantha. She is always so friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. The last time I visited, there was an issue with the remote, and she didn’t stop until it was completely resolved.
It really makes a difference when staff remember you and can put a name to your face. It feels great walking in and being greeted with “Welcome back, Charae!”—that personal touch goes a long way.
Unfortunately, I haven’t experienced the same level of hospitality at Colony, but that’s a different review. Samantha’s outstanding service is what keeps me coming back. I will definitely return.

Wonderful
The location was great considering just outside of the town. Walking distance to food outlets fast food and local (fish fry) best place to eat. Beaches very close to location. Supermarket gas station just a five minutes drive. Host was dedicated to ensuring you are comfortable and that your needs are met . Very interactive with guest to make stay very comfortable and reachable. Oh and happy hour everyday was a great gesture to the guest, free drinks can't go wrong.
Internet on the T. V. Wasn't Soo good but to me it's not a deal breaker. Wifi was good.

The room was very clean, the staff was very courteous and every day there was a courtesy message asking about our welfare and offering assistance.
I had no complaints with my stay. Everything went well.

Disappointing
Property was nice and pool area was very pretty.
Everyone was very friendly.
Rooms were not sound proof in the least. People walking around and talking outside my window till 1am. Stairwell to upstairs condo is beside your room so when people walked upstairs they were basically in the room with you and lots of banging when carrying suitcases etc. Also room was very small.
