(Double) room was functional. Very nice location in good neighbourhood. Super nice personnel. Silence.
The hotel and its facilities are quite old. The TV in the room for example is old and small. WLAN is limited to three devices (weird), you can ask for more codes to be fair. The restaurant was not working, no room service. This was not announced during booking, but only after check in. Not fair, I would have chosen another hotel. Breakfast was served to the room every morning, because of the non working restaurant. This resulted in a huge amount of plastic garbage every day, sad to see in a world, where everybody is talking about green energy and waste. Breakfast from a buffet is rich in choices, the room breakfast had to be pre selected the night before with limited options.
The room size was announced with 40m2. Even when counting the balcony, I doubt this is the actual size. The total size feels a lot smaller.
After all, besides all the critics, the overall experience was decent, also due to the super friendly personnel.

the location and staff.
Dated facilities especially the room, you feel like you are in a hotel from the early 90s. Bed sheets were so old that they had small holes. Breakfast was just bad, I didn't even finish my pão de queijo/coffee and went to a bakery nearby. SUPER overpriced for what they offer.

Location.
Hotel needs a general overhaul of its facilities. Staff unable to communicate in English or Spanish as witnessed by another guest who could only speak Spanish. Internet required a very complicated process to log into it ,something that is not required by any other hotels. Restaurant leaves a lot to be desired offering only very basic service considering its supposed to be 4 star.
Would I stay there in the future ? Not when there is so much competition nearby.
