Great hotel location right off Ave Paulista right in the center of SP. Staff was very professional & spoke english fluently, which is not so common in Brazil. Breakfast line-up was gorgeous, tons of items to choose from. It is an old charm property but very well maintained.
For some reason, WiFi kept cutting off, my room was on 12th floor but when in the lobby the connection was a lot more stable. After mentioning it to the front desk, they had their IT team re-boot the router but to no avail.

The staff are very helpful. The location is quite good, just a few steps from Paulista Avenue. It’s in an area where you feel safe. The breakfast is also quite varied.

I have staying at L’Hotel PortoBay São Paulo, off and on since 2011 and I have always enjoyed the experience. The hotel is manages with the utmost professionalism and the staff are friendly, well informed, and always “go the extra mile” for their guests. The location of the hotel, just off Avenida Paulista, is close to outstanding restaurants, cultural amenities, and public transportation. I will be back next year for sure, se Deus quiser.

It was 19C in room no option to turn heat on.
Had to bring portable heater in morning. Offer extra blanket as well?. It was everything cold pillows , bathroom …
On our request they called taxi to take us to airport and taxi did not want to turn taximeter but claimed fix price. As it was in hurry we have to accept and pay 300 real. It js too much and same he could ask anything.
This kind of embarrassment one should not expect from this type of hotel.
Good luck but without me during next stay in Sao P.

Everything! The staff is very nice, the breakfast is delicious, the room is very clean and very quiet!
We changed the room as we decided to stay one more night. The category was lower than first one and there was no Nespreso and steam iron. It’s a five stars hotel, I think it’s not a big deal keep this kind of amenities in all rooms

The location of this hotel could not have been better for me. Less than one block to Paulista Avenue. There was a major shopping mall just a few minutes walk away. This shopping mall had restaurants if you don't feel like venturing out for dinner very far from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of selections including cooked to order eggs. I also appreciated the concierge who helped me with my bus ticket to Ilhabela. I recommend this hotel.

Everything. The pictures didn’t do it justice. It was a great location and they did an amazing job taking care of the property and keeping it updated. You got the historical vibe but the modern amenities, comfortable bed and linens, attentive service - everything was just great.
The only feedback is that the drainage was a little slow/blocked when showering.

The staff ad location are fabulous location are fabulous, breakfast is mediocre for this class of hotel. It is very clean.
My relatively unsatisfactory review is relative to the price of the hotel, one of the expensive in its category in the city. The most glaring problem is that the shower does not have any sort of holding bar. Even for younger people this puts you in risk of fall. For older people it is a risk of death from a fall. Relative to the high price of the stay , quality of the breakfast is mediocre. The food in the restaurant is also mediocre

Great staff that were welcoming and very accommodating. Fluent in English and Portuguese.
Incredible breakfast that alone would probably inspire me to stay there again. Really a standout and a testament to the high quality , classical hotel atmosphere and experience.
Very central and just off Avenida Paulista.
Can be a bit difficult to get to hotel during Sundays when the main avenue is closed for pedestrians

Great hotel in an even better location, just off the iconic Paulista Avenue. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean and both the bar and restaurant are very welcoming serving a great breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. Definitely a good place to stay if you’re visiting São Paulo!
