I checked in and out with Felipe. Very professional, very polite. The whole crew working in Mada is kind and professional. Their presence makes the guest feel safe and welcomed.

The hostel is very well located and on an apparently safe street. There are a lot of good places around to drink a good beer
We got a private triple room and some things bothered us: - The room smelled and had mold in some places. - The closet had a terrible smell of mothballs, so we couldn't use it. - The ceiling fan was dirty, which caused me some allergic reactions over the days. - The bathroom has broken tiles and a lot of mold and dampness; the sink counter is tiny. The towels are of the lowest quality, stained, and would have been thrown away anywhere else. I requested a towel change one day and the only ones available were face towels. Beyond that, the hostel's cleanliness seems sloppy, to say the least. The refrigerator seemed unmaintained/uncleaned, with visible dirt on top and food residue inside. I only used it one day and then wanted nothing to do with it. Important point for those who have to work remotely: The available space is uncomfortable and very noisy. The staff, when off-duty but still within the hostel premises, were rude to the point of not responding to a simple "good morning".

Amazing place, felt like home. Very nice areas to chill, very cozy. Staff is super friendly and easy to meet people. Location is ideal ! Near the nightlife, but in a quiet and safe street. Bathroom are very clean and convenient. Would definitely come back !

Great location and welcoming staff. The bathrooms felt luxurious.
The room was small but that’s to be expected with 10 people in a room. I couldn’t find a nice quiet place to practice yoga

This hostel is in a nice building, has a small but nice common area, and is located near many bars. The showers were spaciuos and nice.

Hostal personal is very kind and helpful. The location is nice and secure. The space are clean and good. The shower and kitchen is new then very pleasant. Only think, I have meet cockroaches in my room.

The location is the best. Closest hostel to the main street in Vila Madalena (which is the best neighborhood in SP). The staff is the best staff I have ever met in a hostel - especially Felipe, João and Leticia, they helped me with everything I needed.
