Exceeded all expectations❣️The staff so friendly, helping us with driving directions, even printed a map in English. Some spoke & understood English while others used translation apps, so our back & forth was such fun. The breakfast was a 10 star production worthy of photos. Dinner options always pleases us all. We were a group of 10 friends and I seldom leave reviews but kudos to the staff & obrigado.

Everything was great during our stay here. They had given us a room with carpet at first though none of the pictures when we chose the room showed carpet. Due to my girlfriend's allergies, we requested a room change and they gladly accommodated us to a similar to with no carpet.
There were only 2 negative points with this hotel. First, the food brought for room service is far from what is shown in the menu in terms of presentation and quality, which disappointed us quite a bit but we didn't complain as we are not super picky. A little more care should be applied to this aspect for other guests if I may suggest. The biggest pain point I had however with this hotel was with the way they froze my money on my credit card. A few days before our stay started, I received a notification that the payment was taken for our full stay from my Amex app. So far, no issue with it though I don't remember seeing anything that said they would take the entire amount beforehand. Upon arriving at the hotel the day of our stay, they mentioned that it was only a pre-authorization but that the payment had not gone through and that they require the full payment on the spot. They said the pre-authorization had not gone through but I could see it being withheld on my Amex app. They said they had sent the release notice for that hold and it should be released within 24 hours which it wasn't. We went to see them every day during our 5 day stay to see what was going on but the money was only released once I had come back home. They are the only hotel of 5 different hotels we stayed at during this trip who gave us this type of issue. I can understand holding a deposit for a stay but the entire amount of our stay (roughly 700$ CAD) I have never seen. I didn't need the extra money but if I had needed access to this frozen money, I feel this is problematic. I don't know if this was just an isolated issue or if common practice at this hotel but maybe change the way you deal with payments if this is common.

The hotel placed quite far from center and other business buildings, but this zone is quite nice and good.
Real mess this hotel has with a cleaning and breakfast. I would recommend having breakfast in other city as soon as here they don’t even have nice coffee.

Room is quite comfortable, was clean, good sheets. Internet connection very poor, sometimes difficult to use it. In general for the price charged I would say the hotel should modernize its general structure as it appears not to be new, but pretty old. And have a better wifi.

Lot of rooms were redecorating near my room, so the workers started to make noises and talk in front of my room too early in the morning. Couldnt sleep as much as i needed

Cleanliness of the balcony/corridor and other general areas, breakfast items were not that great (dry cheese bread, not so tasty papayas, mixed feelings about the coffee).
