Across the street from the beach
Staff double charged me despite saying I paid already online, bathroom towels dirty, toilet wouldn’t flush, guarana can in the toilet when I lifted it up to flush manually, black mold on the clothes line in the shower, and no hot water.

The hotel although a bit old is in great conditions inside, the room was comfortable, spacious and clean.
I wished they had some staff that speaks in Spanish or English, as communication was a bit difficult with only Portuguese speaking staff.

The location
Staff were rude, disorganised, towels unclean, staff generally unfriendly and unwilling to help. Air conditioner very poor, unimpressed with the bedding.

Comfortable room
Nobody informed I could only access the breakfast area once - I left to say goodbye to partner who was leaving before me and when I got back I was told I could not eat/enter anymore. Even when I explained what happened, they were inflexible. I also attempted to get help from the reception and they did not assist at all.

I didn’t even ink it was valeu for money. Although it’s carnival time so they must be able to charge what they want to.
