The Pousada is at a great location, close to Pelourinho (2 mins walking). The staff was great and kind - in particular Fabiana: she is a great hostess and will do everything to help you out!

The host is phenomenal. He goes out of his was to help in every way possible. The breakfast was varied and very good. Cleanliness standards are very high.
The rooms are very small with very little space to store anything. I did'nt mind for a 2 night stay, but it would have been more difficult with a longer stay. The location is on a street riddled with trash. No shampoo in the bathroom.

Te room, the bed had bedbugs, the WiFi was unstable, the size of the bed sheets didn’t match the bed size, there was just one plug that was way to far from the bed and the neighborhood was quite bad.

Located next to Pelourinho, it is easy to get around by foot. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Luckily I was driving a small car. Getting to the locatiion and parking with a big truck will be a hassle.

Roberto was such a wonderful and kind host who was very attentive and responsive, even allowing us to check in a couple hours earlier. Even though there was a language barrier due to us not speaking much Portuguese, he always took the time to communicate with us via Google translate and ensured that we were safe during our stay. The room was spacious and clean, all facilities worked perfectly. The hotel is a little dated but it adds to the charm and everything is very clean. The breakfast is great - fresh and very varied with so much food and fresh juices and hot drinks! You can't really beat the location of the pousada, it's across the road from the historic centre (turn right when exiting the pousada, walk down the hill, cross the road and walk up the adjacent cobbled street), and just down the street from a square (turn left when exiting the pousada, walk up the hill and it's right there) that becomes a little lively on the weekends from my understanding.

The room was simple but comfortable. The terrace where you have breakfast is lovely and the breakfast is delicious. The two women, Penelope and Estrelitza who run the kitchen are very friendly and accommodating.
The area going up the hill from the property didn’t feel very safe. However, the pousada is was close to everything in Pelhourinho and from the point of view of taking Ubers at night the property was very well situated as the cars could stop right outside.

The location and the staff are very nice and they help you with everything.
The sheet beds are smaller than the mattress, and when you are slepping, you lose the sheets.

This is a nice place to stay close to Pelourinho. The host was super helpful and made things easier for us. Breakfast was yummy with a great view.
Nothing really. This is a simple pousada with great service and a nice breakfast. There are many stairs to reach some of the rooms, so if you need help with that let them know ahead of time.

I love this place so much. It was like a home away from home. I traveled alone. Gabriel and Roberto took very good care of me. They made sure I was comfortable, and even though I didn't speak Portuguese, they communicated with me using Google Translate. They refer me to a driver who I used the entire time I was there
The Mother's who prepared the breakfast and took care of the facilities were so nice and genuine. I like the location and felt like a member of the community. The value is also great!

The buffet breakfast was excellent. Fabiana was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Check-in worked well and Gabriel was friendly and concerned for my safety and gave me helpful suggestions
