Nice location, room was decent size. Staff did their best to fix issues. They also offered me an upgrade for free. Lastly, they were flexible with changing my stay upon asking nicely.
The WiFi didn’t work the entire stay. I had to use cell service, which made me unable to work. The staff provided me a WiFi hotspot which didn’t work either.
Also I saw a roach outside my door one night; though staff quickly cleaned it up once I told them.
Room didn’t have towels when I checked in.

Very good hotel at Praia da Barra. Very good ocean view, room is clean and silent. Property is well taken care of and the staff is very helpful.
Not much. Breakfast is nice, but not outstanding. Pool was a bit too warm. But I am nitpicking. No real complaints.

The staff was the nicest and super attentive. The breakfast was amazing. The room was big and very nice, we could even see the sea and sunset from the balcony. The pool was nice too. Location was great, next to the beach and in a safe area.

The property is perfectly situated in Barra/Ondina right across from the beach and it was super clean. I loved the personal touches that the hotel offers: coconut water and snack when you enter and a cocada (bahian treat) on your pillow. The employees were all so sweet and helpful!

Location was great, next to the beach.

Clean and well equipped room.
Coffee, juice, fruits and snacks available during the day.
Great play room for kids.
Maybe the restaurant is a bit pricey for lunch and dinner? But that’s the only down side I can think of.

Breakfast was great, complete, had everything and they also made tapiocas and omeletes for you.
Room was very clean with marvelous view. Beds were very comfortable, mattress wasn’t soft.
Location was also very good, walking distance to the lighthouse, to the shopping mall and a very good restaurant nearby (Reconcavo restaurant)

The reception made me check in at 10am so I didn't have to wait in the lobby.
The location is close to the Barra lighthouse and Porto da Barra beach, it is easy to walk alonge the waterfront.
The shower is strong.
The bed is soft and comfortable.
Especially at night, small insects appeared in the bedroom bathroom, very unpleasant.
I warned the administration, they said they would deditize, but it didn't solve it.
The drains took a long time to drain the bath water, forming large puddles.
On the street in front of the hotel, the city hall covered holes with steel plates, which hindered sleeping because of the noise.
The breakfast was ok, but nothing spectacular.
The dinner dishes are expensive for what it offers.

Relatively well located about 500m from the Faro, its breakfast was very good - lots of choice - and above expectations. During the day, they proposed juice and fruits at the reception. Had a little travel agency to organize tours.
I'm glad that with Booking we paid about half of the rack rate because even that was twice the value of it.
I found the photos deceptive. I thought the establishment was much larger, especially the pool (minuscule, can't swim in it, just to soak) and the bedrooms. Not much room to move around. Also, knowing the tide timing, they could have warned the clients that they could not perform the beach service they told us about (usually 10-15:00) certain days when the high tide coincided with the 10-15 timing and wiping the entire area. I also imagine the hotel to be on the beach, not separated by a fairly noisy street.

Awesome breakfast buffet, lots of options! We really enjoyed our ocean view from the balcony. Grateful for the anniversary treat they provided us, it was very thoughtful. Welcoming staff .

Great hotel, great location! The ocean and beach is within walking distance, you can watch the surfers from the balcony. Nice service. We arrived very late around midnight, but a treat with coconuts and sweets was already waiting in the room.
In a hot place like Salvador, I don't think a heated pool is necessary :) The caipirinha cocktail at the bar could have been less sour and better prepared.
