Swimming Pool, amazing view.
Slow staff, many broken things needed to be reported multiple times to get it fixed, city tour arranged by the hotel was the worst part of the visit.

Clean rooms, nice facilities including a great pool, good breakfast.
The nearby beach and lighthouse are beautiful but the area around it is a little stretchy.

Everything was great on our stay, we got a bedroom with a view for the pool and the balcony was huge. The toiletries itens at the bathroom were very thoughtful since my partner forgot his toothbrush. Breakfast was lovely, we manage to rest and have a great time.

- Nice pool area and enjoyable hotel to stay !
- room were clean and confortable
- reception and cleaning staff good (no English speakers though)
- close to the airport
- red restaurant staff were not smiling at all, even a bit rude sometimes. No effort were made to speak even a little of English - No thank you or please.
- breakfast has a lot of room for improvement in terms of choice.
- beachfront yes, but not calm (only tables from bars on the sand). Beach contains a lot of sea weed.

Pool area was well maintained and clean. The best part of the Hotel.
Towels / Linen were nice and new
Rooms were old and poorly maintained. A/C was super noisy. Roof leaked when it rained. Room was over the cooking area so smells and noises at all hours (paid extra for a room on an upper floor - terrible value for money). Generator would go out and we wouldn't have water for the shower.
Itapua has really declined. Very sad.

Location was great infront of the ocean, big garden, nice room design and balcony.
service was really bad. We can barely eat and drink what we asked for. The bar was closed before 20:00 and it's not possible to have a drink or a even a bottle of water after 20:00. There is nowhere near by that you can have or buy drinks or food. The personel was mostly seem tired or upset, the room key was not working properly and even the toilet papers in the room were not renewed, not the stuff in the fridge as well.
It felt like the staff was hardly motivated to work. So I don't blame them. But this hotel certainly deserves a better management.
