The staff was very nice and I met some really nice people at the hostel. There are multiple stalls for showers and toilets in the washrooms, so you don't get held up. The size of the lockers is great, they fit a lot of stuff. I loved that they give you a locker to store your bags after check-out. They're also generous with allowing you to use the hostel after checkout. The location of the hostel is good, with grocery shops and laundromats very closeby. Just a 7 minute walk from the beach/Farol de Barra. The dorm room had both air conditioning and a fan.
The space wasn't very clean, and each bed is not equipped with a small light/power outlet.

Nice, clean and specious rooms, beautiful garden where you can chill during the day and evening. Very friendly staff (they don't speak English, but you will find the way :) ) Location is OKish, you should walk 10min to get to the beach. Restaurants and shops 5-10 min walk distance.

Nice outside/ social areas, kitchen well equipped and clean. Bathrooms decent with hot and cold water. Lovely hostel dog who made us smile. Good price for what you get and relatively good location.
Triple bunks felt precarious to climb up and down- did feel like I was going to fall the majority of the time. Some of my labelled food in a Tupperware either got eaten or binned in the space of eight hours of leaving it in the fridge which was frustrating. Finally, one of the staff members did not respect quiet time at all- playing music most nights outside of the dorm window until 1 in the morning and having a BBQ/ small gathering until 2 another night.

Wow the hostel is so much more than on the pictures! It feels like an old villa with so much style! Our private room was spotless, the toilets were super clean, and the showers were usually also clean (depending on who used it before). It was very airy, and there was never a smell or anything as one is used to in different hostels. The employees are super kind and very helpful! The location is the best you can get in Salvador, you can get an uber anywhere and immediately. Only can recommend to stay here :) We had some problems with wifi in our private room, but there are so many communal areas that you can chill and have proper wifi reception! Thanks guys for a lovely stay, would definitely come again <3
My only recommendation would be to be more observant with the kitchen stuff, as it was only clean in the morning and then people basically leave there stuff to clean it later, but it kind of makes it very unappealing to clean or cook anything there. Though the fridges were tidy and clean :)

Good location only 5-10 minutes to the beach
The bunks have 3 “floors” and literally being in the top one I was scared to fall off in my sleep. Also no sockets by the bed as it wasn’t against any wall and even if you charge somewhere in the common spaces during the day the plugs are 110v so super slow and for work it was really an issue.

The Atmosfere of the hostel is amazing, the staff is incredible, very helpfull and very welcoming. It's very close to the beach but not at the beach wich was very good, and there are lots of stores and supermarkets around.
The washroom could be cleaner, once a day they were super clean, but then it easyly got dirty, cause of too many guests. It wasnt a problem, but a detail to improve

The place is wonderful and the people I met there were extremely pleasant to be around!
Some of my belongings simply vanished (i.e. clothes and towels), so I would recommend keeping an eye on what you leave in the shared areas of the property. Not much was made by the staff to resolve the problem - which was recurring.

The staff is amazing!!! Thanks very much for making me feel at home! The hostel feels like a home, very spacious and comfortable. I pass by different hostels in Salvador and I can definitely say this is the best by far!!

The staff in Casarão 65 is super friendly and helpful all the time. They provide coffee, and they have lockers if you need to keep your luggage after the checkout.
It's only 10 minutes walking by de beach and local and nice restaurants.
