Very Good
I am a solo business traveler. Comfortable hotel with fantastic views (sea side balcony room). The restaurant had excellent local dishes and a calming ambiance. My room was spacious and clean with all amenities. Would definitely stay here again.
Traffic was a bit rough - not something the hotel controls. Just give yourself extra time for any commutes.

Felt like a motel, very run down small and dark rooms. AC in my room didn’t work and I had to request to be switched to a new room.

Really lovely staff and a beautiful location to watch the sunset! Lots of options for food during the day as well. Also the rooms were modern and well maintained!
Sadly the pool was unexpectedly closed during our stay.

Hotel located in Rio vermelho with a stunning view of Salvador.
Spacious room and amazing breakfast.
Located at the top of a hill. There’s a free shuttle running every half an hour that takes you to and from the bottom.

Customer service. The staff did not smile hardly put any effort. Felt like I was putting in a lot of effort for being on vacation.
For Novotel they should have a standard.
Pool has mold and not a good cleaning practice.
Food was a disappointment.

Awesome view of the beach and sea from the room, reception and restaurant.
Great breakfast with many options (and sea view).
Quiet location.
Ask for a sea-side room!
A couple of days before arrival I received a message from Accor suggesting an online check-in and grab the room keys on arrival with no wait.
The afternoon I arrived to the hotel I asked for the keys at the front desk, but the clerk said that the web check-in wasn't enough; so I had to wait in line for an hour (there was a large group checking in at the time).
Also, the wifi connection didn't work half the time.

The location is beautiful, and I highly recommend booking a sea view room — the sunset view is absolutely stunning. The room was clean and nicely designed, and the staff were very kind and helpful.

Breakfast around 9 a.m. had very slow replenishment. The staff member responsible for making omelets and tapiocas was alone and had to handle many orders.
The view and the location are amazing — nothing more.
The air conditioning was so noisy that it felt like I was sleeping on a fishing boat. It was a terrible experience. The room had several stains on the walls and on the ceiling.

The room was very large and our baby had plenty of space to play. The breakfast had many options of local food and fruits. The food from the restaurant is good too.
There was only one main elevator working. The other elevator was in maintenance during the whole week. We had to take the service elevator to travel faster to the ground floor. The food from the restaurant is good, but it's a bit pricey.

Location decent.
Oceanside rooms are very noisy from the bars with live bands below 7 days a week. Air conditioning would cut out for most of the floor every evening.
