Mrs. Gorrett is one of the last great hosts from the old days of travel and hospitality. Those days when you got off the train and trusty guides brought you personally to her home. Yes, the air conditioning worked great, the wifi too, the room is comfy and bright ... but you would be making a mistake if you only wanted to stay in you room all day and/or only walk around Salvador. Mrs Gorett is Salvador and her history. She will walk with you to show you the neighborhood. She will share story and history with you. There is no filter on Bookng.com for this experience. Speaking of the neighborhood, it's soo close to the beaches without being in the super touristy zone. Go to Praia do Porto da Barra and stop at Açaí 73 on Rua na, Rua Barão de Itapoan, 118 especially on Wednesday when everything is 50% off. Do some shopping at the close by supermarkets because your room has a huge mini refrigerator.
well, it's written in the description .. but the whole situation is so home-away-from-home, and considering the big refrigerator in your room, it's a shame you can't use the kitchen to cook
