Nice big room. We could park our car there. The breakfast was good. Only no tea. That could be added. Good location!
The shower was either hot or cold. No in between. The balkony could use Some pillows to sit on. Would recommend it though!

- The king room is really big and comfortable, and the same goes for the double bed.

Good location at barra neighborhood, the staff is nice and welcoming. Big room with hot shower. The kitchen is big and well equipped, breakfast was tasty. I would definitely come back to the hostel

So close to the beach, it was great! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious too.
Staff had to open and unlock the gate manually for you every time you wanted to leave/come in. I felt a bit bad coming and going all the time.

Very close to the beach, and restaurants, staff very nice and good breakfast for the value
The bathroom weren’t so nice,and not always clean and the bed was uncomfortable. The mattress was too thin so when you were laying down you could feel the wood underneath. And that you were allowed to use the air conditioner only in the night until 9am and sometimes it was very warm

Loved this hostel. It’s more like a shared home than a hostel. Lovely, friendly diverse cosmopolitan people - both the staff/volunteers and the guests, nice spaces and rooms and super queer-friendly! Definitely a social place without being a “party hostel”.

It's an old house located in a great spot super close to Porto da Barra. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is also good. I stayed there 3 times during the last years and it's been always nice!

This hostel is just amazing! Not only members of staff are very friendly, they are also very knowledgeable of Salvador and helped me to make the most of my stay. Breakfast was delicious, the hostel is cosy, it's extremely clean, and it's a five-minute walk to Porto da Barra beach. It's so easy to get to the centre of Salvador by bus and very cheap to get an uber.
Nothing to declare, I really enjoyed my stay.

Staff (they seemed very unmotivated, my guess is they are mostly volunteers), condition of the bathroom, wifi (barely working), amount of toilets (during morning long waiting times until shower or toilet were available)

The location, the safety, the people, the diverse breakfast made me not mind staying for almost a week.
One of the rooms gets very hot at night. Our fan broke, but luckily was quickly replaced.
