Guest Score 4 out of 10
Disappointing
It was rather clean and somehow central (if you want to do things in both Copacabana and the Downtown)
It had an absolute lack of identity or warmth that would connect you to the City as a tourist. The staff barely spoke English (or Spanish) and was rather rude compared to other locals. The room was very small, white all over like a clinic and had no view.

Good
On my final day, there was an issue with the AC in the lobby and the ceiling was leaking.

Good
Great location; friendly staff (Lucas is a great profissional)
Little care about maintenance and bad cleaning. Last time I was there, there were no soap or shampoo in the dispensers. That is a shame because the infrastructure is nice.

Very Good
The position, right in front of the metro station Botafogo and the breakfast buffet.
The First room that we got wasn't clean at all but they changed it immediately.

Fair
The location was perfect. Close to the shopping mall and also to the beach. There are lots of bars and restaurants one can find in the neighborhood. Bus stop in front of the door ( we didn't use it) and metro around the corner. Uber is super reliable, so I suggest skipping metro and bus and using Uber. All compliments to a personal who really is there for guests.
The hotel needs to upgrade. Matrases are dirty and worn-out. Some lights in the room were not working. Airco was making a sound, not aloving proper sleep. And then, as all this was not enough, there was a general hotel power outage for the whole night, which meant no airco no TV no mobile phone charging and very poor choice of breakfast in the dark.

Good
The staff at front desk were very nice and helpful. The location is great for public transportation. The Botafogo subway line is just across the street. Good money value.
I could hear the other room very loudly in my own room. The bed linens were old and not much comfortable.

Good
Was told breakfast was included when checking in but it seems that was just for the first night so got hit with a bill on checkout. They don't make it clear at all. Early check in was available but it basically cost the same as 70% of another night which is steep.
