The staff at front desk were very nice and helpful. The location is great for public transportation. The Botafogo subway line is just across the street. Good money value.
I could hear the other room very loudly in my own room. The bed linens were old and not much comfortable.

Was told breakfast was included when checking in but it seems that was just for the first night so got hit with a bill on checkout. They don't make it clear at all. Early check in was available but it basically cost the same as 70% of another night which is steep.

It was so run down
Only one elevator was working
Beds very uncomfortable and my friend had bedbugs in his bed and room. pillows were filthy.

All in all a really nice place. Great staff and a good location. Good if not excellent breakfast. Comfortable rooms.
The only curtains in the room are blackout curtains. If you want to change clothes or maintain privacy, you have to blackout all light coming in through the window.
One of the two elevators didn’t work for all 3 days so at peak times it was much faster to take the stairs.
Would’ve been nice to stream to the TV.
