The only not so bad part of the horel was the location. Close to the beach. Breakfast was Ok. Breakfast staff was food and eager to help.
I really do not understand how this hotel can be a 4 star horel. What are the conditions for ir to be so?
Accomodations aren”t that good. Falcilities are poor. There is no place to put both suitcases in room. It looks and feels outdated. There is no service elevator. Neighbour ordered roomservice and plates laid on the table all evening and the entore next morning…
Overall NOT GOOD. Not what you would expect of a four star.

The walls are extremely thin. you can hear everything from other rooms. The staff were not friendly, especially the manager. He was rude and unprofessional, even in front of my visitor.

A more standardized inclusive breakfast. Surprised to be told during checking in that I didn't book for breakfast.
I also didnt like the fact that there was no provision of even a single free bottle water. Also there was no coffee in the room

I requested an invoice in person to multiple staff members, over the phone, over email, all multiple times and they never sent me an invoice. I needed this for work so I don’t recommend going if you need a proper invoice for work travel.

The beds and shower were comfortable.
The airco was extremely noisy and we even felt the vibrations of the one of our neighbours. We wanted to leave some luggage at the hotel after we left and even pay for that, but they wouldn't help us. It was all a bit charmless and poor service

easy and close walk to the main area of copacabana beach. A few restaurant and bar choices nearby. the paid parking was convenient

The rooms were very large and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the beach and the staff was very nice and spoke good English.
The hotel restaurant's was not very good I highly recommend going to the restaurants outside of the hotel.

The doormen are nice and the shower stream is very strong.
The building is very old, looks nothing like the photos. You can hear every door in the building such that it’s very noisy throughout day and night, interrupting sleep of even deep sleepers. Every now and then a smell of smoke is coming from the ventilation, waking you up in the morning to a pleasant smoking smell in the room. Finally, the floor is dirty so it’s disgusting to walk without shoes.

The hand shower was excellent. Very good water pressure in the shower, comfortable room with room service. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Less than 5 minutes walk to the beach. The 18th floor pool, bar was good.
A hand shower in the bath would help. Missing body lotion. A lot of Americans visit wouldn’t an adapter be useful? Portuguese menus don’t help visitors! Next time I’ll try the other Windsors in the area.

Wonderful
The staff went above and beyond! Every single person we interacted with was amazingly kind and helpful. Cannot say thank you enough to everyone at the Windsor that made our stay so memorable. The view was also amazing!!!!!
The hotel is a bit dated, but truly did not mind that much.
