They didn’t tell me I would be charged for water. I was charged 12 Brazilian dollars for it

Disappointing
The view from my room was fantastic
I returned to this hotel for work, needing to continue to attend meetings and make calls for the week I was at a conference. The hotel wifi is so bad that I was unable to make Whatsapp calls or Teams meetings without the calls dropping out multiple times. I had to make 7 separate calls to the front desk to try and get this resolved. They subsequently 'upgraded from 3G to 5G' but I still had multiple issues with the internet being unreliable. I requested to speak to the hotel manager but the supervisor of the front desk refused to put me through. The room had an awful persistent smell, and the bath was an old spa bath that was grimy and mouldy. Finally, I had multiple issues with the room key, having to return to the front desk on 3 separate occasions in 7 days to have the key re-coded as it kept not working. My request to have 2 keys (as a backup) was refused until the last day of my stay.

Disappointing
Comfortable bed and hot shower. Good room service.
The rooms are old and very basic. No tea or coffee making facilities, no iron/board, no do not disturb sign. I requested the cleaning to be done later in the day (they turned up at 9am) but it was not done and the room was not serviced during my 2 day stay. Did not feel 4 star at all, 3 at best.

Fiquei hospedado no hotel por 3 diárias e, infelizmente, minha experiência foi bastante decepcionante. O atendimento deixou muito a desejar: várias demandas que solicitamos aos funcionários simplesmente não foram atendidas. O maior problema foi o chuveiro, que não funcionava adequadamente. Pedimos três vezes para que verificassem e consertassem, mas nada foi feito. Como consequência, mal consegui tomar banho durante a estadia, o que considero inadmissível para um hotel desse nível. Além disso, a porta do quarto apresentava problemas para abrir/entrar, causando ainda mais transtorno. O hotel também aparenta estar antigo e necessitando de diversos reparos e melhorias. Pelo valor cobrado pelas diárias, esperava-se uma estrutura muito melhor e, principalmente, um atendimento mais eficiente às solicitações dos hóspedes. Achei o preço muito alto para o que é oferecido. Infelizmente, não tive uma boa experiência e não considero que o hotel entregue um custo-benefício compatível com o valor cobrado.

The breakfast was excellent and also the massage session.
Although the hotel itself was nice, we had to change rooms twice because there was a very strong smell of fresh paint, which was quite uncomfortable. We also had an issue with the payment. The hotel wanted to charge us in Brazilian reais, and the amount ended up being higher than the price originally offered through Booking.com. This made the payment process unnecessarily complicated and frustrating.

The breakfast was quite expensive for what it was. It could have been more elevated, offering more variety of vegetables and fruit to match the price. In the gym, 2 of the 3 treadmills were non-functioning. I would appreciate a water fountain in the lobby or on the floors. The pillows were not comfortable.

Location, cleanliness, staff.
Breakfast is good but too pricy. The bed was not that comfortable (the pillows were too slim, and there was an annoying coil). The shower was just OK. The check-out line was too long and somehow slow.

The staff was efficient and friendly. The room was very spacious and super comfortable.
1. The internet is terrible, you have to re-accept terms literally 10 times a day. Super slow. 2. No kettle or coffee machine or something to make you feel nice. 3. Basic breakfast. 4. There was a water bottle on the table in the room. I spend a lot of times in hotels and you usually get at least 1 complimentary water bottle. But no. Upon check out I was billed 2 euros. 5. Location - 40 minutes from the center. Nothing to do around. Boring...
