view from pool area
i lost my watch and staff were not helpful in helping me get it back. it was left at pool area and i never got it back

The share spaces were very clean and nice. Thenrooftop bar/pool area was great. The sheets, towels and other linens were great. The staff was wonderful.
Some parts of the room were worn. Rug, bathroom tub area needed to be recaulked, the glass on the shower was etched from cleaning and/or hard water. The doors had been painted in black laquer that was chipping and had sheen issues.

The location was perfect. It was a very quiet area, especially at night.
The staff were all excellent.
We stayed 6 nights and found the breakfast buffet had enough choices not to be boring.
The rooms are a little dated.
Better umbrellas would help to offer more shade around the property.

This hotel is in a very nice quiet area just in front of the beach and a lot of restaurants, bar options definitely a good option if you want to stay close to copacabana and all the tourists spots.
The hotel itself has a wonderful pool with bar in the top floor which is really relaxing and even has food options too.
The lifts are extremely slow and the AC in our room was too loud.

Disappointing
On the positive side, the door staff were very helpful with handling our luggage. Another thing to note is that there is a favela directly behind the hotel, so if you are hoping for beautiful views from your window, you may want to reconsider.
That said, the location itself is quite good—close to the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants, which was very convenient. Overall, not a terrible stay, but definitely not four-star service or quality hence the rating.
The hotel has potential, but for a place advertised and priced as a four-star property, the service was well below standard. Firstly, the reception staff were very indifferent to our needs, which is disappointing for a hotel of this category. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was spacious and nicely laid out. However, there was no internet in the room for the entire week. We complained repeatedly, but nothing was resolved despite taking us through a tour of telephone calls with their central maintenance and IT departments - something that shouldn't ever happen to start with. I almost felt like I am working at the hotel to resolve (paying) guest issues. Their IT team only provided a temporary workaround that worked for a few hours, after which we gave up entirely and purchased mobile data, using one of our phones as a hotspot so we could focus on enjoying our holiday rather than acting as IT troubleshooters for the hotel. Secondly, there was zero attention to room amenities. We had to ask for shower gel one morning after it had run out, and housekeeping did not notice this despite cleaning the room daily. They removed our hand towels without warning or replacement. We even had to put obvious trash in the bin - such as empty plastic water bottles - otherwise they simply left it lying around the room. Thirdly, Brazil is a country blessed with incredible natural foods. Breakfast could be much better and incorporate more of these options instead of relying mainly on a standard English breakfast.

Breakfast corresponding to the level of the property, well managed staff, number of tables and seats sufficient, always replenished food.
Great location. Felt safe.

Slow check-in and out, probably due to systems used.
I would have expected much better quality of drinks at the rooftop bar - Pinacolada was unable to be drunk.
The property should invest into cleaning the windows and the time of rooms refurbishment is coming.

We loved staying in Leme, the less hectic end of the beach. The hotel room was a nice size and had a very comfortable bed. Individually made omelettes in the morning along with a large multi choice of fresh fruits, breads (gluten free options), coffee, tea and juices, cereals, cheeses - and more. The breakfast staff were attentive and pleasant. Ahhh- and the view from the pool deck was unbelievable! Christ the Redeemer glowed in full view at night and was visible if not cloudy in the morning.
The front desk was often lined up. The check out process and check in process were long waits for us

Location is very good directly at Copacabana beach. Staff is very friendly, and facilities such as breakfast are good. Pool is somewhat small but the view is spectacular.
Bathroom could be cleaner (molt in shower). Furthermore, I have emailed back and forth with them on a pricing question (I stayed partly alone and partly with a companion) and they would either pretend not to speak English, or refer to Booking, who in their turn refers back to the hotel. Very annoying.
