I really liked the hotel, the room and the pool. The views from the pool were amazing. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was also very good, in a quiet area in Leme, right next to Copacabana.
The only thing I didnt like, was that the hotel manager was not friendly. I was extending my stay and wanted to include breakfast. As I was not going to have breakfast on the last day of my stay (given that I had to check out very early), I asked if I could change breakfast to another day (note that it was paid breakfast) and he refused without any type of explanation and started ignoring me. He was extremely unreasonable and not accommodating.

Breakfast with a great view, right in front of the beach. Overall all good, staff is friendly, filled with foreigners, not the best bang for the buck, but, overall ok.

The location is great. View from the roof top is amazing.
Staff is super friendly and attentive.
Rooms are spacious.
Breakfasts are very tasty
This place needs some touch ups. Bathrooms especially, they look like in 3 star hotel. Also they dont have much amenities, in bathroom only shower gel diluted with water and bad shampoo that I used instead of shower gel. And 1 shower cap.
No teapot and teabags, no free water when you check in.
No proper duvet, only thin sheet and old blanket in a cupboard.
Room keys wasnt working properly
The pool on a rooftop is tiny and dirty and unpleasant to get in

The location was excellent, the view was breath-taking, the breakfast had many options (including lactose-free and gluten-free) and the staff was super amicable.
Communicating with staff through Booking/email was a pain. I asked about transfer from the airport more than 8 days before departure and they've answered me after I had already checked in!

I upgraded to an ocean front room. The view was awesome. The location of the hotel is the best. Rooms kinda dated but the view made up for it. The breakfast buffet provided a variety of selections. We ate lunch and dinner here too and price was reasonable.
The hotel had a lot of tourist groups. It took a while to get our room ready.

I am writing now, after staying overnight on four separate occasions. On the 3rd stay, we were stranded at the hotel by a tourist company failure. I must thank all the staff who went out of their way to assist us that day. Obrigado!

After a days flying, it was a pleasure to sit on 19th floor, pool deck, with a cervesa and watch the world go by. Being Sunday, Leme/Copacabana were busy, busy! Very good breakfast, and quick and efficient check-out.
We had no complaints.
