The pool and grounds were very nice. Staff was very good. The shower was very good.
The rooms were clean but very basic. No hair dryer, no face clothes and the towels were very small.

The staff was amazing, everyone was super nice and helpful, specially at the reception desk. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was flexible allowing us to check-out later and also keep using the pool and some other facilities (like spa showers) after the check-out.
The location isn’t amazing. Very central, but very sketchy. But most of all, the breakfast was very very chaotic, not that many options, some things took over an hour to get refilled and the pineapple juice was the worst I ever had in my life, super watery. All the juices were bad tbh. Tapiocas and cuscuz also took forever to get done.

Wonderful
Every morning, afternoon, and night you could find the staff cleaning. It gives you peace of mind to know they care about the cleanliness of the facilities. The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed which I loved. I stayed in the older preserved pink building and loved my accomodations. Although the ac stopped working on my last night it want unbearable and felt it unnecessary to complain about it. I asked multiple staff questions about Rio and the surrounding area and was met with mostly friendly responses and helpful information. I will absolutely be returning here for my next stay in Rio and hope to have another excellent stay
The only thing I didn't like is there were small ants in my bathroom and somehow mosquitoes kept getting in my room at night.

I booked a 1 Collection Superior Preserved Apartment and when I got there the bedroom was small, dark and outdated - the TV was not smart for example. We ordered room service but the pizza seemed frozen from the supermarket and when we went for breakfast, well before the end there was no plates, eggs, bread and so on/
The swimming pool was indeed the high point of the stay plus the location was also great. The staff was friendly but not quite flexible when asked for late check out.

We loved the grounds, especially the pool and surrounding area. The breakfast buffet was good and the breakfast room was comfortable. The fitness room was good. The excellent cleanliness of the hotel stood out.
We didn’t like the Neighbourhood. Soon as we went outside of the hotel for a walk during the afternoon, people descended on us and harassed us. We quickly learned not to venture out of the hotel on our own, except by Uber.

Clean/ mostly comfortable/ majority of the staff members are kind and respectful/ I was allowed to use the showers past check out time because a paid extension that I requested was not available
There is no noise regulation/ cleaning starts early morning and staff uses loud voices right next to the room doors
There is still need to improve hospitality: check in lasted long, and there was no no explanation of why/ I asked for assistance with lost and found right before my flight out, and I was left hanging for 30 min.
The Internet worked poor.

The location was walkable to lots of restaurants.
The property was far more run down than I expected. My room looked dated and the towels and bed sheets looked very worn. My keycard stopped working and I had to go down to the front desk every single day to fix it.

The Pool, the architecture and the food.
The location (outside the property) doesn’t feel safe at night. The aisles of the rooms in the main building are very obscure.
