Very Good
Location challenging, breakfast was good but could get crowded. The room is authentic, rather old but authentic.

The location is great and close to most of the main attractions in Rio which are easy to navigate on foot or with short and affordable taxi/uber rides. That said, the neigbourhood is dirty and there are many homeless people, something which is quite prevalent in the city centre and no fault of the hotel.
There is no bar or entertainment at the hotel or concession if you need supplies. Some live music and a place for.peole to congregate would be an asset. The restaurant offers good value but the menu should be varied a bit more from day to day.

Rude staff, not welcoming at all (felt like in a jail where you have to obey what is been told), food tasted very bad, room not isolated, very loud

Ideally situated, close to the centre and only a 5 minute ride to Copacabana beach. The room was peaceful and comfortable, with an excellent shower and bed. The buffet breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with many choices for all tastes. The hotel also had a good swimming pool, plus a ballroom.

Breakfast was great, reception is very kind.
The shower cabin leaks water making the whole bathroom wet and it doesn't dry quickly. So that was fairly annoying.

The breakfast exceeded my expectation. It was really nice. The restaurant was always packed full. The room was comfortable and the location was central to most attractions in the city, it was central.
I would love that they provide ironing board and iron in the rooms. Also coffee maker was absent in the room. There was no body lotion as well in the room.

The surroundings of the hotel are horrendous, a lot of people live in the streets, smell of pee and poo!

The Pool, the architecture and the food.
The location (outside the property) doesn’t feel safe at night. The aisles of the rooms in the main building are very obscure.

Room and location were great. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel facilities were clean and pleasant, and despite its location, very quiet.
Breakfast was fair and plentiful, though not very creative. The egg and tapioca station was okay, but could have used another employee to speed up service, as the line was long most of the time despite the employee's efforts to serve everyone. A menu with options to speed up service could be offered. If there was one, I didn't see it. A conventional electric toaster could be provided. I missed an iron, as the steamer provided by the staff, which is highly requested, takes a long time to iron clothes.
