Wonderful
Regina is a wonderful host (it helps a lot if you speak some Portugese), and was very flexible with check-in and check-out times (she even let me stay longer on my departure day). The studio is centrally located in Botafogo, close to the beach, metro, restaurants, shops and banks. Safe area of Rio. Not the newest apartment, but well looked after and equipped with practical details. Comfy bed, small kitchenette to prepare simple meals. When I arrived, a water filter had jsut been newly installed so that I didn't have to buy bottled water. If you lean out the window, you can see up to the Christ.

Botafogo is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Rio, and this apartment is ideally located nearby the Botafogo shopping mall and the Metro station. It is in a residential complex that is clean and well maintained, behind gates that are staffed at all times. It's a safe area with a lot of foot traffic. The bed was comfortable, which is always one of my main concerns.

The location was great, the building is safe and the hostess very sweet and accommodating! The studio itself is basic but with everything one would need for a short stay in Rio. For three persons it might feel a bit small but in general it is an excellent choice and we would go back!
The AC is very loud. A ceiling fan would be great!

The location and the view of the Christ statue was amazing. The room was very cozy with everything you need. The owner of the appartment is very helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend.
