This hotel is only location
This is not a 4 star hotel.
We only returned to our room to take a shower and go to sleep. Poor bed sheets and torn mattresses.

Location and breakfast was decent.
I woke up to the noise from the hallway, which was unacceptable. It may be cleaning people, but it was consistent loud, long chats, banging something, shutting a door, dropping something big (many, many times), even coughing and spitting (!!!), and it continued for more than one hour.

Good location, close to both Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. Always felt like a welcoming oasis from the hustle and bustle of Rio. Staff went above and beyond, especially Franz on the front desk.
Time delay on the photo cell hall lighting could be reduced.

The room was spacious. It had a safety deposit box, very convenient in Río. Good location, you reach Copacabana beach in a 5 minutes' walk. The buffet breakfast is good. Ask for a room on one of the lower floors, otherwise you'll waste time waiting for the elevator.Comfortable beds. Nice area, quite safe to walk at nights. There's a nearby supermarket.

Wonderful
Great location and value for the decent size room. Bathroom was a good size too with good water pressure. Has rooftop pool (bit small) and gym (but old) with a nice view. Breakfast was good with local fruits and nice bakery options. We were able to store our luggage after check out and the staff was super friendly throughout.
The hallway looks a tad bit older and sometimes smell cigarettes.

The hotel was located between Copacabana and Ipanema beach. They had a rooftop pool and a gym, which were great! The staff were also very attentive. We booked last minute and enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location, very close walking distance to both Copacabana and Ipanema. The hotel also provides towels for the beach.
The breakfast was also very good, with lots of variety.
This is a hotel that should not be considered 4 star. It needs serious refurbishment, as it is very old. An unpleasant smell was apparent in the whole room and in the bed linens. The bathroom did not have a window or a ventilation system. The bed linens, the walls and the toilet had stains.
We asked for an iron machine, and they told us that they dont have one, but instead we can use the ironing service of the hotel, which was quite expensive!! Overall a mediocre experience.

The location of hotel was perfect, The room had a large space and a play area. It was relatively clean, had a comfortable bed, and was fairly quiet.
The room was a bit old and needed renovation. In my opinion, the fridge in the room should be replaced as it was outdated. The hotel breakfast was simpler and more basic compared to other hotels I had stayed at in Brazil—it could have been better.

Wonderful
Room was recently renovated and spacious. They have maybe a couple tuneups they could do like making sure electric boxes are covered and they are still working on the elevators but things worked well. Nice granite surfaces everywhere. About 3 blocks to Coco beach and 6 to Ipanema but hotels on the beach can be just as far from the good part of the beach. No view of the beach but about half the cost or less of beach views. Nice rooftop with pool, and really decent gym and lounges. Would be great to have more TV channels but you can get YouTube and Netflix. Big breakfast. Good value for the price. We had stayed at Orla which was nice but almost twice as expensive and smaller rooms.
They are still renovating but things were good.
