What a gorgeous location: our view from our corner suite was heavenly. We left the sliding doors open to listen to the waves crashing as we slept. The pool area & restaurants were very appealing. The staff's level of service was fantastic.
Our bathroom was a little tired and needs new chrome wear, a working laundry line and repair to the leaking bath tub faucet. The room carpets desperately need a good clean. The suite has the potential to be FANTASTIC.
Drinks are v expensive as one expects at a Sheraton.
We'd stay here again for sure.

The ocean view room was really nice, the hotel overall was clean and aesthetically appealing. Comfort beds, great service from staff.
The hotel area was updated but the rooms/bathrooms are a bit dated. The hotel smells like a dream. My friends and I smelled a stinch, like a mildew smell as you enter the rooms. Since we all had the smell (different floor level rooms) we concluded that all the rooms smelled like that upon entering. Over by the balcony, there wasn’t a smell but we also kept the balcony open for the fresh air.

Great location on a private beach with stunning views
Run down rooms. My first room didn’t have hot water, there were stains on the carpet and bedding. The management was responsive and moved me into a better room. Thank you, Rodrigo!

It's a very nice hotel, on the beach with a very nice pool and great pool service. The staff is very good but not sure about the front desk as we had some issues with them. Elevators seemed efficient, breakfast was good and easy to take Uber's anyplace from there.
When we checked in were told we would receive priority check in due to status. That clearly was not honored as we got our room very near 3PM, after folk we traveled with received their room. They offered to send up a plate due to status that was not send. Didn't care but don't offer.

Nice pool, beach right next to it. Comfortable room. Great location. Very nice staff.
We were on floor 20 and there was a werid smell. The elevators didn’t work really well and it always took along time for them

Very nice hotel. The staff was super friendly, specially the Concierge, who helped us to book a table in a nearby restoran. The pool is stunning.
The beach in front of the hotel is very small. You have to walk 10 - 15 minutes to get to Leblon.

- Late check-out was not possible, and we received a different explanation from the reception staff each day. The staff at the reception were generally unhelpful, blaming each other and didn’t seem interested in resolving the issue. We eventually gave up and booked access to the airport lounge instead, which proved to be an excellent choice. If you need a late check-out, I recommend confirming it in advance or considering another hotel.
- Staff at swimming pool restaurant speaks almost no English. The communication was challenging
- The hotel feels outdated, the facilities look old and not very well maintained.
- There is a favela located just behind the hotel, which might be important for some guests to know. The hotel felt, though, overall safe.

I received an upgrade to the 18th floor, which I appreciate it very much.
Bene Restaurante was a a disaster, twice. I ordered the COD, it arrived well done instead of moist.
COD takes only maximum 3-4 mins to cook, anything longer ruins the fish. I’m cooking too.
This happened last year too. I asked the Host, to remove the charge, this did not happen.
Casa Da Cachaca’s menu should be revived. Too many Pomme Frites. Offer a nice Quiche Loraine, or a nice fruffly omelette, there are so many options. Please.

I stayed in this hotel twice already: its location and facilities are unbeatable. Also, the staff are really very helpful and make your stay even better.
The breakfast: food was OK but the area is small, you have to queue and, unfortunately, there was no air conditioner so it was really hot and crowded there.

Very Good
Sheraton is keeping the level high, with very nice and helpful staff, private territory where you feel yourself completely safe, private beach and pool area and probably the most beautiful tennis courts I’ve played on. Rooms are wonderful with just a marvellous view. And it’s a perfect choice for those with babies - they have a baby room, cribs, all necessary facilities everywhere and comfortable big elevators. So it’s a classic five.
The hotel is located 30 min by taxi from most sights, which can get longer with the traffic. The food is not always the best - we’ve had very dry meat in the restaurant which is not recommended.

Everything smelled in the room, the carpets were dirty and the shower didn’t work properly!
I couldn’t sleep well due to the smell of the room( sewage smell)
I asked to change the room!
I definitely won’t come back!
