Great location! Hard to figure out heating and a/c but managed. Staff was exceptional and the breakfast buffet was over the top. We had a view of Christo from our room which was beautiful too.

From the check-in to the check-out, everything went right. The staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was very clean. We had a quiet room facing the Corcovado Hill.

Valet and parking.
Outdated building, room, and bathroom. Visitors were not allowed up to the room to see hotel guests. The neighborhood is not nice either.

Very good breakfast, very friendly staff and excellent strategic location for Rio de Janeiro with good access by Metro, taxi or Uber to beaches, night life, restaurants, St. Teresa, Centrum, Corcovado etc., on top they have a decent roof top pool and a small sauna, as well as a small gym.
Quite good level on cleanliness.
To make it even more perfect, gym equipment could be updated.
The rules on late-check out could have been more transparent, but just a minor issue.

The hotel was good in terms of price, and the breakfast was nice. If your expectations aren’t too high, it’s a decent place to stay. However, there are some issues—for example, the beds in the rooms are not very comfortable, and the bathroom faucet is oddly designed, so narrow that you can’t even fit your hand underneath. The air conditioning is also unbalanced: the person under it freezes, while those farther away can’t feel it at all.
They also randomly charged for an extra breakfast, but luckily they removed it after we pointed it out.
As I said, it’s reasonable for the price and can be a good choice especially for the breakfast.
Rating: 7/10. With a few improvements in comfort and service, the hotel could become an even better choice.

really liked the place - we actually moved out of an Airbnb in St Theresa, where we didnt feel secure and were so happy to have chosen the hotel - its calm and the neighbourhood is nice and bustling and we felt rather secure. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is amazing! Great plus for the pool and the sauna, we would stay here again.

At the end of our stay, they asked us to pay for bottles of water that were in the fridge even though we didn't use them at all. Fortunately, they didn't insist on it, but their mere assertion that we used bottles of water even though we didn't touch them was impudence and a desire to unjustly charge money.

Great staff( many thanks to Nathalie and Ernestina for advice and help), very clean hotel, tasty breakfast (especially exotic fruits), very central, close to the metro station, safe area to be around. I would recommend this hotel .

Due the thickness of the walls any guest causing excessive noise should be controlled . I would threaten them with removal or a fine. Other guests have rights to. Your doors slam cushioning ect may rectify the problem.
