Location is good
Had to change room . Very leaky faucets and shower is moldy and could do with some cleaning and upgrades . Beds are not so comfortable.
Dont want to go on further . But I wont go back and or recommend

The location was fine.
The wifi almost never worked. I never received new towels, toilet paper, or had my room cleaned my entire stay. The check-in was messy as the receptionist was rude. The eggs for breakfast were always cold. Finally, when I checked in the room had a faulty power box to place the room key that turns on lights and air conditioning. Rather than offer me a new room they placed three key cards in the power box to keep it working all day which was a waste of energy. I also had to go back to the receptionist three times the first day because my key card did not work.

nice breakfast, close to subway stations
This is a two star hotel at best! I am not demanding at all, but first impression was not the best: upon arrival, room was not cleaned properly. After walking a few minutes barefoot our feet were literally black (not gray, not brown, literally BLACK!!! as if the floors were not wiped for months). After that we got disgusted in touching anything. Then curtain and lamps full of mould as if the room were closed for months. The wasnt cold water to mix it at the shower. so the water was unbearably HOT, almost boiling. my Boyfriend wanted to wash the shampoo out and could not, so hot it was - I had to hold water in my hands, wait a few seconds to temper and only then wash his head. The bed sheets were stained and towels were yellowish. Overall very poor maintenance. For 1-2 days acceptable, but for 5 days stay (as we had), just skip this hotel, not worth spending vacations here never eve again

The location close to Copacabana is the only good thing about this place.
There was black mould in the shower. There was no mattresscover on a mattress full of stains. Not that that would have helped since the sheets were also stained and had hair on them. Both the shower and faucet leaked uncontrollably. WiFi was straight from the 90s. Unusable. The breakfast was the best thing.. I would give it a 4/10.

The hotel staff were all very pleasant and polite , breakfast was ok , with enough variety.
The rooms were dated , the bed cover and the small sofa in the room were extremely dirty , we just could not use it at all .

Good location in a safe neighbourhood. The rooftop pool is nice, although the whole area is a little run down. Room is nice for the price range and breakfast decent.
Not the best treatment from the staff, they even tried to add an extra fee at check out because the price I booked it for "was wrong". Resolved after a talk to the manager. Hotel is past its glory days, bit that's also reflected in the price.

The hotel was listed as having a gym before I made the booking. On arrival, I was told it was not functioning. At check-out, I requested a discount for this reason. The staff member refused, explaining that it was closed because of Covid and insisted it said so on booking.com. This was not the case. Moreover, Brazils health ministry decreed the end of the state of emergency related to the pandemic days before my arrival. I have been to several hotels in the country over the past six months, all with functioning gyms. The booking.com page for the hotel now has no reference to a gym, but the staff admitted there had been problems with the listing and said I needed to contact the website instead. One female staff member in particular was very rude. The manager said he could give no discount but bizarrely offered for me to stay an hour longer in the hotel (?). I would not have made a booking at the hotel had it been made clear the gym was unavailable beforehand. The hotels TripAdvisor page still lists a gym. The breakfast selection was of poor quality and there was no toaster. The Wi-Fi in the room is very bad and only worked in a corner near the door. And they charge you for leaving luggage behind the reception. Despite the good location, I would never stay here again.

Loved the pool! Good location in safe area with 5-6 minutes to one of the best parts of Copacabana beach.
