The location is excellent, the view of the Copacabana beach and farther landscape was amazing. The bar on the rooftop is great, and the staff there was wonderful.

The location and rooftop/pool are nice. Breakfast is also pretty good.
The room was not updated, needs a renovation badly. The bathroom was not very nice. Windows are old, you can hear everything from outside.

The location is excellent! Can’t beat Copacabana Beach with one of there restaurants right across the street on the beach. The pool is beautiful and the dining rooms clean and newly updated. The breakfast buffet had so many choices and the fruit so fresh. We purchased the ocean facing,
VIP high floor rooms. Worth every penny for the special breakfast room. Also had a 2 hr massage/facial which was exceptional.

All the common areas are very well maintained and are actually very nice. The pool area is beautiful and you can enjoy the best views
We paid for the most expensive room and the rooms are just very dated. The shower leaked daily into the bathroom when we actually took a shower and there were some little moths in there as well

Room was great and well arranged. We loved both the breakfast and the wonderful, wonderful roof top restaurant. Great location, room, view, food, staff and everything else.
The rooftop pool area was a bit crowded.

Breakfast is bad, carpets and curtains in the room are old and very dirty, no coffe or tea provided in the room. Not worthy more than 100 usd a night.

Perfect location and superb breakfast!
The rooms are spacious, some offering beautiful views of Copacabana.
The rooftop features an infinity pool with breathtaking views.
This was our second stay here, and it was just as wonderful as the first.

I could see the hotel had done some refurbishment, but a lot still seemed dated. Our room door had to be fixed as it would not close. Breakfast was a bit chaotic.

The air conditioning leaked water all over the floor and it was a major inconvenience we had to soak up all the water with all our towels and a blanket that was on the floor became saturated
Maintenance came the first night but didn’t fix the problem and leaked worse the next day

Some waiter attitudes, the Wave was not good
In service, waiters at breakfast some don’t even say morning when I initued “ Ola!”. Tables are not wiped only dishes taken away. Dishes not cleaned thoroughly.
Concierge was great and so is security at the entrance to the elevators.

Wonderful
The oceanfront view of Copacabana is simply breathtaking. The suite is very spacious, with a large and comfortable bed and two bathrooms, which is super convenient. The air conditioning worked well, and what really stood out was the service – from the VIP reception to room service, Skylab restaurant, and the poolside bar, the staff were always kind, attentive, and professional.
We stayed in one of the older rooms (1612), and it clearly needs renovation – furniture, bathrooms, and installations look dated. When we arrived, the balcony glass was quite dirty, although it was quickly cleaned after we asked. The AC, while effective, was a bit noisy at times.

The location is perfect, right in front of the beach. The room was nice, comfortable and clean as expected of a hotel of this level. Breakfast ok, had the basics. But the hotel was too full and some of their extras were not trained well, so, although some of them were really nice, others were very inappropriate in their treatment of people.
I had many problems from day 1. I was done with my meetings at 4pm and planning to have a nice relaxed lunch at the restaurant in the upper floor with the best view. When I noticed that it had just closed and would only open again at 7pm. I tried to call reception to ask if they had the same food somewhere else, tried several times and no one picked up. Someone told me the pool bar only served sandwiches, so I went downstairs to ask the concierge, who was very uninterested and didn't help. I tried to go to the Sushi bar and the attendant was very rude. I went to the kiosk at the beach and the street smelled of sewage. So I decided just to go to the pool and eat whatever they had, just to find out that they served the same food as the restaurant all along! The problem is that I wasted 2hs, hungry, because no one was helpful enough to tell me that!!! Some waitresses at the 3rd floor breakfast were quite unhelpful, one even refused to get a spoon for a guest to mix her coffee and just said we should go get it over there... The gym was in the basement and there was no direct access with the elevator, one had to go out in the street and around the corner to access it. I tried to ask questions from several attendants and got ignored, so had to figure out on my own. Very disappointed in general, even though the structure and facilities were nice enough. You don't expect this kind of (un)service at a hotel of that.

Pleasant
The location was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the room service attendant provided outstanding service. We loved the rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant. It was the reason we chose this hotel.
The rooms and bath were small and outdated, and not worth the price we paid. The floors were in terrible condition, and one bathroom had a leak in the ceiling. The bed was very uncomfortable, causing me to wake up with a backache every day. Our room requests were not met, so we had to address them with the check-in agent.

Wonderful
Wanderson and Larissa were great. So nice and helpful throughout - needed a few little things here and there and had questions and they were both amazing and very accommodating. Security and wait staff were always kind
The fitness center was closed. That was unfortunate and there was no affiliated hotel we could use for fitness.
