Very nice beeakfast and big variety of choices considering the small restaurant;
There were waiting lines for breakfast as the restaurant is small and you eventually need to wait if you arrive in”peak” breakfast time. Coffee/ bar opening only after 10:30 so if you do not have breakfast you are not allowed to order/purchase coffee and you need to wait until 10:30.
My room was entered on and cleaned on even with having “do not disturb sign”. Bathroom had women hairs which did not belong to me.
Cleaning service knocking at my door and ringing at 8:00.
My room was on the last floor and next to the swimming pool and the toilets of the swimming pool. I would say that it was extremely noisy because of the all traffic to the pool and doors not being sound proof. If you get a chance try to avoid the 13th floor.

Amazing location in front of the water. Rooms aren’t fancy but beds are comfortable and service was amazing. Breakfast was a highlight and they have long hours to accommodate leaving early on tours.
The gym equipment is a bit tired. The treadmills need to be upgraded as does the cable machine. The location is gorgeous on the rooftop.

Where should we start.. first of all: STAY AWAY!
95% of the staff is rude, not motivated, don’t speak any English (especially at the bar) and just seem to be always in a bad mood. They don’t even do an effort to receive food or drink orders in English!
For the night of NYE we paid more than 1000$ for a room without a real window and we were not permitted to go to the rooftop. If we wanted to go, we would have to pay another 200$ each to go up there.
However, the night before NYE the one guy from the reception approached us and sold us tickets for that night for around 500$ with dinner and drinks (open bar) and said there is a party up there, a DJ, food and drinks. The evening of NYE (after 9:30 pm) we have been told that our ticket is only valid for drinks and not even for the dinner and the manager himself (the rudest of all in there) didn’t even understand that there is frustration. After arguing around, he offered us to wait up with the drinks and come back in an hour for the leftovers ??♂️ we declined and so we had nothing planned for that important night in Rio on NYE.
The next day we approached the guy who sold the tickets to us and we said: you were lying to us. His answer was: yessir, I was lying yesterday! Such a disgusting experience.
We were talking with many people around and everyone was unhappy with the hotel, the rooms, the staff and the situation (another one was not permitted to bring a guest for an hour to his room).
We would NEVER and for no price recommend this hotel, as the facilities and amenities are old and outraged, the staff is the worst we have ever experienced and they destroyed our night for
No reason! As the hotel itself even 2 stars would be too much.
So stay away, after this stay we changed to some other hotels next to it and you get much more for your money!

The advertised ‘pool’ was five foot by 5 foot. Photo in advertising is deceptive.
The room, while clean, was small and dreary, window looking out at a wall. But this is not particularly uncommon in Rio, unless you go to premium properties.
For the night of New Year’s Eve they jacked the price to $1500 US, even though I was booked there for 2 weeks. But again that’s the way all hotels in Rio treat guests.

The location is right on Copacabana Beach, and a 2 minute walk to the Fairmont Hotel which is where I was attending a conference. Some good food places around, the breakfast was good when I made it to it, it lasts from 6am-10am, which I felt was plenty of time to go if you could.
The rooms at the back of the building were very very noisy from the bin trucks and from a lot of homeless people hanging around the rear streets, all night long. There was a smell of someone smoking on my level and it turned out the staff smoke in the back corridor and it comes right up through the budling. The bathrooms could do with a bit of a refurb. I stayed or 8nights and mistakenly booked 9, I told them this very early on in my stay and they wouldn't allow me to cancel the last night which left a bit of a sour taste at the end. The pool are and set up on the roof is not set up for sitting around and relaxing, the view from there is the big selling point for this entire hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located at the end of Copacabana beach. This boutique hotel offers free breakfast, roof top pool with stunning views of the entire beach. Close to restaurants and stores. Highly recommend this hotel if staying in Rio.
Road noise if your room is at the back of the hotel, windows are not sound proof. No coffee machine in the room. The T.V. screen is a bit small for a room this size.

We had a good stay at this hotel. The waiter service at breakfast was excellent—friendly, attentive, and very professional. The breakfast itself offered a wide variety of choices, with different kinds of fruits, making it easy to start each day with something different and delicious.
I highly recommend booking a superior room. The upgrade is absolutely worth it for the extra comfort and a little better view.
The location is also a major highlight: right in Copacabana, directly across from the beach, and only a 15-minute walk from Ipanema. It’s the perfect base for exploring the best parts of Rio.

Great location and great value for money, staff were super friendly and helpful. It was great to just walk out to the beach and anything else you need is a walk away - restaurants, shopping, even beauty salons.
The breakfast area is small and when busy can get a bit crowded. If you can eat earlier, the better...

Location was great - on Copacabana but very close to Ipanema. Park next to the hotel was a bit sketchy to walk through as soon as the sun went down

Wonderful
The hotel sits right in the middle of Copacobana and Ipanema beaches. The hotel's rooftop is an added bonus. Though there was no rooftop bar when we were there, we enjoyed hanging out and enjoying the evening lights and breezes.
Rooms are small and beds were not so comfortable.
