Wonderful
A tranquil peaceful oasis, literally the best place in Rio. You would never know this place exists - such a peaceful place amongst the noise, hustle and bustle.
Rob and his team are such a pleasure to be around, the lovely dog Luna loves cuddles and this place is an absolute gem.
If or rarher when return to Rio, we will choose this place only.
Everything is nearby, you're right next to the main attractions yet it is so beautiful and you feel like on a tropical holiday. Lovely breakfast too and Rob has all the advice you can think of.

Its a wonderful place in a beautiful and safe area of Rio, like a little oasis with hammocks, garden, little pool and wonderful view. The hosts are super friendly and nice people, truly devoted to give the best experience to their guests.
Their breakfast kept me full till the evening! And the breakfast room is very beautiful and inviting.
Charismatic cat and dog round up the experience.

The proprietors are very focused on giving a good experience. I had a lot of trouble with the heat in Rio in mid-summer, but the air conditioning gave excellent respite. The bathroom facilities were kept very clean. Breakfast was good. We took two all-day tours with Rob, one of the owners. He took us to the far west of Rio, and we had an opportunity to see natural habitats and cultural amenities and to dine on delicious seafood we would otherwise have missed. Don't miss the chance to taste moqueca de peixe - a wonderful fish stew. The price was very reasonable, considering that it was Carnaval season. We had absolutely no problem getting to the property via taxis, which are abundant everywhere. When at the property, we mostly used Uber to go down the hill to various neighborhoods such as Lapa, Centro, Copacabana, Ipanema, and Jardim Botanico. On one occasion, we had to walk down. By using the staircases that Rob told us about, it was a much shorter walk than it otherwise would have been.

Incredible stay in Rio. Richard and Rob made us feel like hope in their little green paradise. We have absolutely enjoyed our stay there. Bonus points - delicious breakfast and very cute pets!

Richard and Rob are wonderfully hosts who will make sure that you have a great time in Rio. The location is safe and close to the beach. We had everything we needed! Breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast was delicious and included fresh fruit and juices. Rob the owner was very helpful in providing local information and recommendations.
The property is on an extremely steep hillside, which gives great views but makes walking down to town more challenging than we were willing to try. However using Uber was never a problem.

What a wonderful place to stay in Rio. Quiet and comfortable, on a hill with beautiful views of the city - but right in the center of it all. My daughter and I came in for a quick visit to see the Taylor Swift concert. We landed during an intense heat wave - over 105 F. Our room had AC, we took a dip in the pool to stay cool, and we lazed in the hammocks in the garden with the turtles and Luna, the dog. The heat broke on day two, so we did some sightseeing. It was very easy to call an uber or cab to get around - short trip to Sugarloaf and other destinations. We also walked down the hill to get meals - it's about a 10-15 minute walk using a combination of the road and staircases that snake through buildings (which cut down on the length of the trip). I did this several times, including in the early evening, and felt very safe. The breakfast each morning was really lovely - fresh fruit, bread, eggs, cereal, coffee. And Rob was super helpful giving advice, helping to arrange activities, etc. We pre-booked the car service to and from the airport - I would definitely recommend that. We also used the metro and train to get to the concert. I would definitely come back here.

The security of the property, the amenities, the homemade breakfast with property sourced fresh fruit. The pet dog Luna, the cat, the on property turtles(that let them pet you like they were dogs). The open space to just go outside and relax and the pool with access to the open bar with honesty policy for payment was amazing!
Cant say a bad thing about anything honestly!
