Good location near mall
The night staff was not friendly or welcoming. The man begrudgingly helped me with my bags. The girl was the same. The pictures online was nothing like the rooms which were very spartan.

It is very clean and spacious. Fast check in and check out. Very accommodating and friendly staffs. The cleaners are very polite and really did a job well done in cleaning and organizing the room
The breakfast is until 10am but I observed that on January 1st that there was almost no food already at 9:30am.

Wonderful
The location was wonderful, the shopping mall was beautiful and had a lot of ammenities and options for stores and restaurants. It was also really easy to get an Uber from and to the hotel, along with the access to a supermarket wallking distance.
The personnel of the hotel didn't make an effort for non portuguese speakers. We asked for the option to either get assistance in spanish or english, and the clerk just spoke portuguese and didn't reallly make an effort with the pace for us to understanding better. Good thing that most of the information I needed was on the posters and flyers throughout the hotel.

Great location with a view across the surrounding area. Although the room was small, my family just needed a gap filler room while we were waiting for flights and transferring around Rio. Great to have the mall across the road to walk around and get food from.

Most off the staff speaks english. Pool has a good view over downtown area. You can change money at the reception desk.
The are outside of the hotel may get a bit dodgy at night. Use Uber.

Close to the mall and train. Helped with navigating Rio.
Neighborhood around the mall was sketchy. Maybe a little more security inside the hotel at night.

Average hotel, decent breakfast
I’ve never had an experience like this before. There is absolutely no privacy—staff members enter your room without knocking or asking for permission. To make matters worse, when I got to the airport, I realized I was missing 1,000 reais. I have no doubt that someone from the hotel took it. Avoid this place at all costs.

The staff was pleasant, offered free food for breakfast, nice location and nice beds.
The bathroom had an odor. Not sure if disinfectant can resolve it or is a water issue. Very consistent with hotels in Rio.

The location is amazing and very safe. There is a mall and supermarket right across from the hotel.
The staff doesn't speak english. Breakfast could be better. Can be pricey during high season.
