The location was wonderful, the shopping mall was beautiful and had a lot of ammenities and options for stores and restaurants. It was also really easy to get an Uber from and to the hotel, along with the access to a supermarket wallking distance.
The personnel of the hotel didn't make an effort for non portuguese speakers. We asked for the option to either get assistance in spanish or english, and the clerk just spoke portuguese and didn't reallly make an effort with the pace for us to understanding better. Good thing that most of the information I needed was on the posters and flyers throughout the hotel.

Great location with a view across the surrounding area. Although the room was small, my family just needed a gap filler room while we were waiting for flights and transferring around Rio. Great to have the mall across the road to walk around and get food from.

Most off the staff speaks english. Pool has a good view over downtown area. You can change money at the reception desk.
The are outside of the hotel may get a bit dodgy at night. Use Uber.

Average hotel, decent breakfast
I’ve never had an experience like this before. There is absolutely no privacy—staff members enter your room without knocking or asking for permission. To make matters worse, when I got to the airport, I realized I was missing 1,000 reais. I have no doubt that someone from the hotel took it. Avoid this place at all costs.

The staff was pleasant, offered free food for breakfast, nice location and nice beds.
The bathroom had an odor. Not sure if disinfectant can resolve it or is a water issue. Very consistent with hotels in Rio.

Hotel breakfast was not varied. The room is kind of small. The staff, although friendly, don't speak any english or spanish.

It is situated inside of a shopping center which is connected to the subway so location was excellent. Staff was friendly but not willing to go the extra mile. I needed an early check in and they didn't help with that but they were friendly. Room was clean and very quiet.
Phone in the room had no directions on how to call the front desk. Staff didn't help me to get an early check in. Hotel was not full so I had the impression that they could help me but didn't want to go the extra mile. Price was OK but expected more comfort in the room considering the price. Just one small soap in the bathroom. Very basic. When I checked in they asked me how many people in my party for breakfast and the next day my name was not on the list.

I stayed in a wheelchair accessible room, also the shower was accessible. There was a small slope (10 cm) from the room to the bathroom but it was not a problem for me. Breakfast was OK. The shopping center and metro are close (you don't need an umbrella to reach them even if it rains).
In the middle of the first night there was some noise, obviously from the hotel's ventilation system that lasted for about an hour.

The location is good if you are planning to stay near to the centro or airport. Otherwise, I would prefer to stay in another hotel. The room was ok. But bathroom was not cleaned well.
