Spacious Room and good location to go to the beach.
Swimming pool was inactivated.
The gym is too small for the size of the 2 hotel operating together (Mercury and Ibis). 3 people there and the gym is full.
No space for children to play - they were everywhere.
Lack of zone to chill out like a room with books magazines and sofas.
Coffee and tea was available only at the first day.
IBIS has 15 floors and 16 rooms per floor so 3 lifts were busy most of the time.
Breakfast at the hotel way too expensive for Brazil and even me as a Brazilian. Had to find other options outside the hotel.
Sauna room is together with the SPA so if someone is having massage session we CANT use the sauna!
And vice versa which is absolutely wrongly.
They are loosing money.
Honestly not staying there never ever again.

Great location. A lot of restaurants and the sightseeing in the surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful. No regrets whatsover. Plannin' to do it again when the time comes. Cheers!
The price of the breakfast was a little bit too steep. It caught me off guarded but it was all good. I thought it was included in the overall price once I checked in. No big deal!I did it anyway. After all, nothin' could spoil my day ....lol Breakfast very tasteful. The food was yummy! The staff people very friendly. Suggestion: Cut down the breakfast price to half if possible. Aside from that, no complaints at all.

The hotel is right in front of the beach. Excellent if you choose Barra for your stay. 10 minutes away there is a road full of bar and restaurants and the metro station is about 15 minutes away from hotel. Clean and well maintained.
Quite bare inside the room. It would have been nice to have some more toiletries and amenities in the room. I, also, was expecting a slightly bigger size of the room. The price should really include a breakfast in the morning.
