poor communication ...almost zero if you wish to ask something Inside Sauna are 25 degrees , and outside of hotel are 40 degrees...strange more hot outside than in sauna ....staff who do not speak English or Spanish or any other language...

Breakfast was amazing. Also the hours it was served were really convenient, specially for the 1hr extension at the weekend. I didn't like Barra da Tijuca, because it is too far from everywhere, but if you plan to stay just at Barra, this is a really good place.
Laundry fees were utterly high. I ended up going to a service outside the hotel. Other small detail: TV user interface was really annoying, and there was always a guy trying to connect to my unit. Just small details. The hotel was great.

Location is perfect if you are staying in Barra. close.to restaurants, beach and everything.
The land line doesn't work. It is IMPOSSIBLE to call the hotel and the front desk is happy with it.

No comfortable beds and mattresses, bedsheets everytime wants to go out, no oxigen in the room because of its small size and not well working AC. Bad sound insulation of the building, you can here everything from your neighbour room. The access cards are demagnetized almost every day and you need to replace them at reception

I liked the location and breakfast and view from window was beautiful
very small room, bad working AC in both rooms, you should not put them in automatic mode cause it's doesn't make sense, there is always or hot or freezing in the room, nothing in between. Not very well clean room under the chairs and sofas. No liquid soap, no soap holders

The property is very well located, beach front, nearby various good restaurants, and easy access to the malls and entertainment places.
The room we stayed is outdated, the curtains and balcony are dirty. The “closet” is a built in shelf without doors, so our personal items stay displayed. The bath set does not include hand towel and there is no holder for hand soap. Additionally, there is no instructions to use the TV remote control and when we asked for assistance, no one from the hotel staff came to provide any help.
