Central to all I needed to do and close to the beach.
I would prefer if there were 110 volt outlets as well as 220 ones. There are only 220 volt ones but the staff was kind and let me use a transformer for the nightlight I like to use.

It has a descent restaurant , an excellent location ,
I could not go on a vacation and stay there, the rooms are so small , no amenities whatsoever , no safe , one sheet for the bottom of the bed , one for the top, two simple pillows !

I did not like this hotel
I arrived to my room after travelling 11 hours from Paris. At around 2:30 AM, I was awaken by the noise of dripping water from the bathroom and the WC water flooded the floor. I called to complain but at around 3:40 AM, I packed my stuff and decided to go to reception. They pretended not to understand and the night receptionist did not speak good English. I was exhausted and asked to change the room. It took till 6:00AM to get to another room and afterwards the room windows did not shut properly for me to sleep and I noticed water leaking from the WC as well. I had to start work at 8:30 AM and travel to Petropolis. As I noticed that the maintenance in the hotel was not up to the standard I decided to leave and asked for my money to be refunded included the first night. This was only fair given that I had a bad nights sleep. I left a number asking that a manager calls by 9:00 AM and no one bothered!!! The experience was terrible and I hope that booking.com looks into this matter urgently as it is not acceptable to sell faulty rooms to clients.
