Nice room. Large bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were helpfull and polite.
No pillow cases for the first night. whole place was looking a little tired and in need if a refresh. better cleaning in public areas. Dirty hand marks around the light switch and door of the public bathroom.

Disappointing
Breakfast was very descent, pool needs renovation but clean. Receptionist allowed us to check in earlier than official hour.
Quality sleep is the bear minimum you expect a hotel to provide. However, sleeping arrangements were horrible. Not only there were two separate mattresses that served as a double bed, but also both frames were of different heights, making a joint uneven. Mattress itself was poor too, so you bend down while sleeping.
On a second day of our stay, AC broke down, and we were offered to be moved to another room as it could only be repaired next day. However, the other room had worse conditions (poor smell and no terrace), and this did not satisfy us. Finally, after 2h with booking support, we moved out to a nearby hotel at our own cost as administration was not willing to provide a solution. We received 50% refund from the hotel, but our stay was disrupted, and also we stayed 1 night and not 4 as planned, so refund was not to our advantage.
Avoid this place at all cost if you are seeking comfortable stay. The owner positions the facility as a homestay but in fact, it is poorly managed and no care to guests comfort is prioritised.

Place is generally fine, and the Location is just great. Staff was usually nice - but if you have Feedback/Suggestions for improvement - then they unfortunately just see it as "criticism" and seem to ignore the issues completely, because "they never receive complaints"...
(Shared room) Problem is: access to the UPPER beds need simple improvement! 1) you step on the mattress of the person sleeping below, every time you go up and down, and 2) there is no handle to use your hands, when going up/down. (both issues could easily be fixed! -if only you cared.)
I tried to inform Staff about this - but they said "they never received complaints"... so No need to do anything about this (?!!). So my only option is to give a bit of a harsh review here on booking.com, although the place is really not bad.
But you should LISTEN to your clients. We are not "complaining" to be difficult, we are giving you FEEDBACK ;)
At least PRETEND you care, when a client gives you feedback! That would have been nice.

The location is good, safe area.
The hosts are kind, friendly and respectful.
Also they were up to attend my needs.
Breakfast was delicious with a variety o fruits, juice, carbs and protein.
It was not clear to me the sharing rooms with anyone as I booked.
So it make me feel uncomfortable.
Also, the locker are broken. So all my personal stuff was not stored properly and I don’t felt safe to live my belongings inside the room with someone that I don’t know.?♀️
For my point of view room cleaning was down.?
Sheets didn’t have a cleaning smell, feeling our even locking good.
Surely they can do better for the amount they charge.?

Simple but clean hotel with very attentive staff and excellent services. Pedro and Nety and other staff were wonderful. Breakfast was also excellent and included in the stay. Also, this hotel is very close to Barra Shopping and very accessible by Uber.

Wonderful
The pool, the breakfast and our lovely balcony, were all nicer than expected. I was puzzled because I had read some comments that had reduced my expectations. We stayed an extra day for fun.
I would have liked a water filter in the kitchen
