I would give a much better score if I had a comfortable bed in my room. There is a lot of parking space which is very good, breakfast is okay, and cleaness overall is not bad. The place is quite old but if your expectations are low I think you will be fine, but the current rate on Booking (7.4) can mislead you...

Too much mold in the shower area. The hotel definitely need remodel the bathrooms and floor in the room change it the wood floor and clean the air conditioning inside we got a huge allergy reaction of the mold and dust. But still was a good stay!

Pure ghetto stuff.staff doesn't speak English excdpt for one and even if show the Google translate on phone they don't care to respond. Broken bathroom-toilet flush leaks,showe area floods within a minute. They charged random amount during checkout , couldn't understand a word I was saying and ended up paying double of what I owed.

Good price. Good location. Good breakfast buffet with papaya, melon, assorted breads. A big, hot electric sandwich press. The room was spacious. The shower hot and with great pressure.
This place has a good price for what you get, no doubt. The room was a little worn out, with the laminated floor buckled and a bit loose. There were some other things needing minor repairs, but since I didn’t complain in person, and this and other hotels were fully booked, I won’t complain here. The air-conditioning was GREAT! I was able to rest well - and that’s the most important thing. :-)

Very close to the city centre. Easy to reach any destination by metro trains. Safe in the rooms and fair breakfast included.
Staff ability to communicate in foreign languages (English, Spanish,..) Quadruple room very very narrow, with space enough for two, maybe three beds but not for four. Fourth bed of very small size.

The room was decent, pretty nice double bed and simple tv. The room was relatively large and the bathroom was big too. Shower and sink were good, offering powerful and warm water. No problems with the toilet either. Location was decent, right in the centre. Great if you want to go out and party.
Staff were generally rude, cleaning staff came at irregular times which was inconvenient. The breakfast was really not great with barely any choice other than some scrambled eggs and sausages. The dining wasn't very clean either. Huge markup on the minifridge, got charged $R 45 (£7) for 3 tiny bottles of water, despite the fridge indicating each bottle being $R 5. Pretty dodgy neighbourhood so definitely not for families or people otherwise worried about safety.
