Very Good
Went for Carnaval and the location was way better than I expected. There are homeless people on the street but it was still calm and we had no issues even going back at night. The room is clean and looks like the pictures and the bathroom too. The breakfast is brought to your room and it was very good, simple but complete.
Not the nicest looking place but has everything you need and people were very nice!

For this price you can't expect a lot. The location is good. Like any big city downtown it doesn't look safe, but I didn't have any trouble walking around.

When returning to my hotel yesterday night, I was refused access to the room , despise of providing my name several times and document. I was told that I have to "pay to stay" because "I had just walk in from the streets". After a lot of persuasion, they (the receptionist and the night manager) decided to call someone else to help and start to describe my personal characteristics while looking at me from head to toe as a way of identify myself ; the first comment was the colour of my skin. At this point I threaten to contact the police and short after they found my name and the room as was staying but not before telling that the “the whole situation was my own fault because I did not my room number” . I’m consulting with a local law enforcement regarding the racial injury and discriminatory treatment . I also would like to hear from Booking regarding cancelation fees , transaction refund , compensation
