Very Poor
I like everything about this hotel accepts the fact that their staff broke into our room and stole our phone while we were out for a short walk.
They have surveillance and access card report but they didn't do anything about that. We got to sleep the night with a table to block the door and interestingly, someone attempted to get in while we're sleeping and hit the table and ran away.
Would you ever stay in this hotel, make sure to block your door with something heavy. And good luck!
Some staffs are theft. Make a good note of that good luck, future guests!

Good
The breakfast buffet is excellent, with plenty of variety and good quality. The view from the dining area is even better—truly spectacular.
The restaurant staff is very friendly, and the dishes they offer are delicious and reasonably priced.
The location is also ideal: just a few meters from the beach.
The beds are very comfortable, perfect for resting after a day of exploring.
I had to reschedule my booking to the following week due to a change of plans, and they were very kind to accommodate it at no extra cost. The front desk staff was very attentive and helpful.
The room cleaning was very poor. I had to ask them to sweep the floor, and when I arrived, I found piles of dust under the bed—not from one day, or even a few weeks, but clearly from months of neglect.
I requested that they clean it, but even then it wasn’t done properly. I had to insist several times until it was finally cleaned.
The next day, one of the guests brought sand into the room, and it was still there the day after. It seems like the cleaning staff comes in just to lightly tidy up the bathroom, but they don’t actually sweep or do a proper cleaning. You'll always need to wear flip-flops to go to the bathroom, otherwise your feet will end up covered in dust and sand.
The internet is horrible, I had to work and most of the time I had to use my hotspot.

It’s a great location. Sea view, breakfast was good enjoyed the view a lot!
This is my first time visiting this location I was excited!! but my trip started off not so great I was delayed by a day and they didn’t want to refund or give me credit when other hotels in Rio were able to. I couldn’t speak Portuguese that well which is totally my fault but I can speak English and Spanish. I had a weird interaction with front desk bc I spoke in English instead of Spanish. Then through booking.com I paid $320 but I was charged $470. Why is that? I don’t know. I tried calling them and messaging them through WhatsApp and they message me back for some info and stop responding. I was recommending this location bc it was affordable but it’s really not.

Great location and amazing breakfast with view in the roof top !
The dorm lockers are incorporated on top of your bed, you loose a lot of space and you hit on it all the time while sleeping.

Poor
The location is very good. Although to be honest for next time I would rather stay in Leblon or Ipanema but if you want to be in Copacabana this is a great location.
The facilities are very poor. They lack of a social space where people can chill and meet other travelers, this is a nice to have but still. I found completely unacceptable the cleaning of the building and the lack of space. I was in a 8-bed room but bunk beds were literally 50 cm one from another, AC was very old and barely worked. I never once found the bathroom clean enough as it was disgusting all the time. This picture is from the minute I checked in the hostel (supposed to be the cleanest time)

The room view was amazing and the bed was very comfy , also the location is perfect for tourists
The elevator is terrible, the breakfast could better organize and should prioritize the people staying at the hotel, instead of people coming from outside

Close to the beach!
No bathroom in the room. Not well specified before booking.

Love the view. And the decoration of the room.
The view and decor of the room are so good but maintenance is bad. Curtins are dirty and falling, and the room was smelling very bad. Love the breakfast with an amazing view but the tables are always dirty.

Location, across the street from the beach.
The elevators took forever and the lights in the hallway didn’t work, so it was a challenge getting up and down the 10 story building.

Poor
View from the rooftop bar. Staff at the front desk was very kind.
Both the room and common areas are dirty. Especially the dormitory room was super dirty, sand and trash under the beds. We stayed 5 nights and the bathroom was never cleaned (e.g. hair everywhere), not even once.
Moreover, the dormitory rooms are super small and it's impossible to do anything.
Absolutely not worth the money (it is not a cheap hostel!).

Location and breakfast.
We didn’t have hot shower and we complained about it every day, also one of the days we didn’t have water to flush the toilet. It is more a hostel, nice if you are a backpacking

Good
Obviously the location of this place is second to none. The rooftop and morning breakfast were amazing. I liked the open layout and hostel feel of the ground floor.
The pictures are a little misleading. I booked a standard room and it did not look as nice as the pictures-- stains on the sheets, outdated furniture, and dark. The hallways are small and dark, and have motion-detecting lights, so it was a bit creepy walking to my room. It was overall a decent stay, but you could pay the same amount of money for a nicer place in Copacabana.

Exceptional
The location was literally overlooking Copacabana Beach which was amazing during sunrise and sunsets. There were a lot of restaurants around so looking for food wasn’t a problem. The staff were kind enough to recommend us some restaurants to try around.

An excellent value for money place to stay. Room with a view across Copacabana, breakfasts and restaurant food very good and cheap.

Wonderful
Beachfront location, rooftop view, breakfast quality and quantity, employees service-oriented, front-desk service, security…
Maybe some better lighting in some parts of the room corridors — or relocate movement sensors (ex: arriving to room 805…); also some minor improvements in room decor.

Wonderful
Was clean, but very old. Very nice view from dinning room, but we weren’t allowed to go in during sunrise. Huge disappointment.
Breakfast could improve and staying time could change to 6am. If you have a tour, you won’t be able to eat first. Great view from dining room, but not allowed to get in early in the morning.

Wonderful
The location of the property is absolutely amazing with all the great options for food snd drinks available almosy at a walking distance.
The rooms are a bit small but them considering the location , one can live with it.
Ideally they should have drinking water facility at receptio as everytime one has to go to 10th floor to fill up their water bottles

My friends ( family with 2 children) liked nothing.
My friends with 2 children moved to another hotel. Children and the parents got the rooms far away from each other.
The sewage smell in front of the hotel was terrible.

Location, and breakfast were great, room was so-so with some broken things in the toilet and in the room.
They charged my card and the card of my colleagues. After 5 days the Financial Department Head checked everything with me, found the mistakes and promised to credit my card the overcharged amount withing 6 weeks. I didn't get anything as of May 10th!!!
Besides tha, the room keys stopped working every second day. Plus myself and my colleagues were disturbed by other hotel guests who were accommodated to the same rooms by mistakes. Almost every day in the hotel was a challenge for us.
