At 2am I started to listen a lot of noise from the next from, people going in and out. Then, someone started knocking in my room and I received 2 calls: one in Spanish asking who I was and why I was in that room and one in Portuguese apologizing because they were actually TRYING TO OPEN my door - apparently there was a mistake registering my booking. I almost called the police. I was really really afraid. A woman traveling alone should not be exposed to this kind of situation. When I reported in the last day, the morning staff seemed surprised and recommended reporting to Booking - which I did and ended up only on a message saying that the property was contacted and did not responded. This means that clients will continue to be exposed to this kind of service - really disappointing.

It is a good location, but not excellent, because the street is a bit noisy at night. Very close to Copacabana beach.
Breakfast is good, much better than in similar hotels in the USA. The room is okay, but the facilities could use some renovation.

Very basic MOTEL with uncomfortable hard bed no blankets no shampoo. I got bitten by mosquitoes!!

Location was great. Breakfast was also good.
The room had no windows, felt like a prison. Also the hot water took over 5 minutes to come on and then was way too hot and couldn't be lowered as the flow of both taps was really weak. Toilet was running the whole time. Staff often ignored us at the desk. Check in took forever for example and no issues with the room as mentioned above were ever fixed.
Was on the top floor but the elevator only went to the second top floor then we had to climb steps to the final level.

I arrived at the hotel and they told me they don’t have a room for me because they sold more then they have capacity for. Still haven’t received my money back!

Blood stains on both the pillow case and sheet. Bathroom dirty, toilet seat broken and refrigerator not clean. Key cards quit working almost every single day, despite never being near my cell phone or anything else. People at the front desk were unfriendly and unhelpful and provided misinformation.

Just the location
I was given a room for a disabled person with a 3 feet high bathroom sink, angled mirror to the floor (amazing for putting in contact lenses..) and even a wheelchair to have a...dump..what a lovely touch. (see pics). Never mentioned during the booking and when questioned the reception I was given a very quick reply "it must have been the last one available.." no apologies, nothing..the last day, while waiting to get to the airport I asked if I could get a small bottle of water for free as nice gesture, she charged me 5 reals.. nice touch..
Beside that, the room was very old and the cooked bfast was some leftover mixed with eggs.. Dreadful.

Breakfast and internet was good. in terms of location it was fantastic.
The lady at the reception during the check in did not speak English.
It was not clean and did not have shampoos.
It was not properly cleaned.
