The WiFi was bad it kicked you out every 5 minutes. The restroom was a little gross.

The breakfast was great with a very courteous and professional staff. The hotel location is perfect, across the street from Copacobana beach and very close to restaurants, stores and other activities.
The check- in was somewhat difficult. He insisted on giving us a room on the 1sr floor which we did not want and kept insisting nothing else was available. He finally sent us to an upper room with 2 beds, we had requested a double bed and kept insisting nothing else was available. We finally had to pay more for another room. The same thing happened again. We booked an additional night because our flight was canceled. When we requested to remain in our room, we were told absolutely no by one person, the next front desk guy charged us extra to remain in the room

Excellent location, surrounded by restaurants, stores and shopping. Comfortable bed and clean room. Breakfast was generous.
We booked a room that was supposed to have sea views, but there were gigantic tents on the beach which obstructed most of the views as we were on a lower level, which was disappointing for the price of the room. However, the views from the roof were absolutely stunning. Pool was relaxing.

Location right by the beach. Nice bars around the area and a large supermarket too. Great view from rooftop.
Pool looks very dirty. Gym is a very small room with 4 equipments.

Location was fantastic. And the staff went out of there way to make sure you were having a great time. Remembered our names; our room number and Breakfest was always full and ready to grab.
The bathtub / shower. Very high to get up into and kinda dangerous.

The rooftop bar had an amazing view.
The staff helping with the baggage always had a smile on their face and were helpful.
The king bed of the room was big and comfortable enough.
The hotel itself is a bit on the old style side so don't expect fancy schmanzy.
The room is not really sound proof and you can hear what happens on the hallway.
During high season expect higher rates, as it's normal - but it still gives the impression the cost didn't match the offered service.

It's all about location. Just in front of Copacabana beach makes it very convenient. Lot's of places to eat and easy to take an Uber from. Friendly staff very helpful. If you have a beach view room the view its awesome!
Remember you are paying for the location, all the rest it's just below average. The building had better years in the past, it's not in bad shape but old (kind like me).
It's a 14 floor building with 9 apartments per floor and just 2 elevators. At some point it was a nightmare to take the elevator to our room in the 13th floor.
The gym was also a bit disappointing, one treadmill and a bike (both in good shape) some not enough weight and a strength machine that did not work at all, also not much space to do anything else.
Finally, we paid about 200usd per night for an ocean view room, for the price it was not a good hotel, you just pay for the location. Breakfast was also below average.
Sorry but I would not stay here again or recommend the place.

The location to the beach was great and above all staff were really nice and helpful . The breakfast was super delicious,
The bathrooms definitely need to be changed to be more modern. The bath tub is little higher which can cause someone to trip and fall. It better yo get rid of the bathtubs in all suites. Also the beds could be changed and be more comfortable
