The location
The staff was not good, they never answered my messages from booking to update the payment method, I had to contact booking support and they did not answer them either, I only stayed one night and when I checked out I asked for the favor of lending me the amenities to shower and be fresh for the trip and they denied it, I was in another hotel in the sector and they were very friendly and empathetic with the amenities

Pros:
Location: Excellent position on Copacabana with stunning rooftop views of the beach and Christ the Redeemer.
Room: Deluxe Room with view was spacious with a comfortable king bed.
Staff: Super helpful and welcoming even with language barriers.
Food: Pleasant and simple free breakfast.
Cons:
Limited English-speaking channels on TV.
The jacuzzi tub and shower layout was a bit awkward to navigate.

Big room, a.c. beach beachfront.

The shower.
The drain was clogged and bathtub got filled halfway.
We asked to fix it three times but it never was fixed.
The cost of valet parking, $45. US dollars per day.

The location was amazing, the room had view to the Copacaba beach and it was just stunning. The hot tub in the room's bathroom was excellent as well. The breakfast was amazing, really good and with a lot of options. Very good wi-fi too!

They put my reservation as no show and left us with no hotel when we got to the hotel around 8 PM. They claimed by credit card was denied. This was not true because I was able to use it with the next hotel. 11 people with no hotel in Rio. I thought Booking.com rooms are guarrantie and you verify the credit card. Now I am questioning if I can trust Booking.com. Sad. I always use Booking.combeven when there are less expensive alternatives.
Knowing my Booking.com reservation secured by my verified credit card is not dependable. I will now check on other alternatives. Also, Booking.com listed a Airbnb type of place as hotel (The warming center in Toronto) even had the photos of the center while the place was beside it. It did not have elevator and we in our 70s had to manage to carry 4 luggages of 50 lbs each up 3 floors thru a narrow unsafe stairs. Totally un acceptable.

The room. Very functional. Well designed Cabinetry to keep lots of things, raised platform to keep multiple suitcases, lots of hangers, etc.
Next, the location of the hotel. Extremely convenient to get to Copacabana beach
Third, the shower water force. Awesome.
The front desk staff. Adversarial attitude and in couple conversations, outright rude behavior. Why do these hotels keep people who have no motivation to be in the hospitality industry?

Disappointing
There is only one thing I like about the hotel, its location.
The staff, especially at the check-in desk, seemed a bit inattentive, and sadly, we lost some valuable items like sunglasses and clothing, which we only realized when unpacking at home. We sent them a message but never received any response. The room was quite small and didn't quite meet the standards of a four-star hotel. It also didn't feel very clean. We wouldn't recommend staying there and probably won't choose it again if we visit Rio in the future.

I was escorted to the room I went to use the bathroom the toilet mad noise after you flushed it the towels was dingy with stains on it the room has no window. I went to ask if I could get a refund and told them why the attempted to fix it. But the end result was me leaving. I didn’t feel comfortable staying there.

O hotel não vai muito além de uma boa localização.
A hospedagem foi desastrosa, ainda mais para um hotel 4 estrelas. Como pior detalhe menciono o barulho do elevador, que produz pancadas fortes durante o funcionamento e que se ouvem distintamente dentro dos quartos, prejudicando enormemente o descanso.
Piscina suja e café da manhã sem padrão, em um dos dias estava bastante razoável e, em outro, bastante medíocre, com ovos duros e secos.
No geral, hotel velho e com manutenção e limpeza deficientes. O primeiro quarto que nos foi dado foi necessário devolver devido ao acúmulo de sujeira no ar acondicionado, quase entupido de tanto pó. Mofo no quarto também causou alergia.
