The property was very well maintained and cleaned daily. There are activities for the day written on a board for everyone along with things to do/events organized by the hostel. I went out multiple times with hostel staff and people staying there and had a great time every time. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. There was even a cute & friendly hostel cat named Estrella. The people staying there were a mix of all ages and activity levels making it very easy to either go out or stay in and rest. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. So many good vibes and memories here.

This Hostel was my house for 2 weeks, the location is perfect in Ipanema, safe, close to the beach, a huge supermarket, bars, restaurant and metro. Very clean and quiet, very friendly staff always willing to help. Thanks!

It was a very clean, social and fun hostel. I really had a good time and met nice people. They even had a kitchen we were able to use and the wifi was very good. The staff also helped me too book tours and get a sim card!

The location is great and the area is pretty safe. The host is very friendly I know the area pretty well.
The air conditioning is not working when I stay there and the room is really hot. The bathroom is really small and you have no place to put your stuff. The water is cold. The building is itself it’s a bit rundown for the price it charges. Paying around 300 per night for a bed, the same price I can have the whole room in a three star hotel in downtown for my own. The post to say downtown is really dangerous. It is not true.

Location is very nice.
I was moved to a nearby hostel without explanation and paid the same rate even though it wasn't as nice a hostel. I liked the other hostel, so I won't complain too much.

Wonderful
Great location! Excelent for solo travelers. You won't never get bored. It's 4 blocks to the beach, you have a subway station very close. It's a mixture of hipster area and residential area. You can take THAT photoshots with that view in the beach very close. You have a supermarket, an exchange house, shops, restaurants. I'll come back soon! Great team.
There was a problem with the water but it was solved quickly.
