Great location and super reasonable price. We stayed in the private room which had a lovely balcony too. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us loads of advice and tips for our stay in rio.

Wonderful
This hostel was super nice, felt like home! I was supposed to stay for 4 nights but I stayed for 10 because I didnt want to leave. The staff is amazing, I had so much fun with them! Also the location is perfect, safe neighborhood with a nice supermarket and restaurants and close to the beach.

The location is amazing, the staff were very kind and helpfull, everything very clean and organized, the kitchen is very complete and large. There is an amazing bar next to the hostel.
I missed a little more space besides the living room, to relax outside the dormroom, but i could go easier to the beach and relax there.

I booked a 2 beds in the hostel. we arrived it was completely booked we were not able to stay there. After we complained they offered us to sleep on the sofa in the common area for the same price. We did not want to do that, then the lady said your from Europe you can afford to find a more expensive place. We left after that absolutely horrible.

There are lockers in the room, but bring your padlock. The bed was fine, there is a socket near every bed, which is great. The place is close to the beach, and the area feels safe.
The room had two very small windows, this it was smelly, but it was not terrible.

This Hostel has been the best stay in Rio. The People are very welcoming, they try to organize whatever you need and are open for questions and advices for what to do. Maria was very kind and recommended me places, that I wouldn't find without her. She invited me for Trips and Partys every day and recommended the best Favelatour in Rio. Miguel and his brother took me out in the evening and showed me a save way to the hostel. They took me to Copacabana and to a nice local place with street food. It felt like I am a part of the Hostel family since day one. Thank you so much for this experience, if I will come back to Rio I would stay in that hostel again.

The staff was very friendly and spoke English. The hostel is very well located in Ipanema, not too far from the metro, the beach and has tons of restaurants, groceries, bars, etc. only a few steps away. Its a great budget stay around the Ipanema area.
I stayed in one of the rooms(not dorms). It had everything needed but was basic.
