The host and the concirge were really helpfull. The concirge waited (a long time) for us at the airport for pick-up and took us to some shops to buy some things because our luggage didnt come along. If you want, you can get a lot of directions and explanation about things to do in Rio.

Paulo and Ilson who run the hostel are the best host. They made me feel as if I am paying a friendly visit. Paulo met me at the bus station, and helped with bags. Later they offered me a hot meal free of charge. I was the only guest that day since the hostel is small. Shared bathroom is spacious and clean. As a solo traveler, I felt extremely secure and welcome. Thank you very much!

Paulo and Ilson from the accommodation were very friendly and helped me with everything. In the evening when I arrived from the airport Paulo took me to the supermarket and Paulo even cooked me some muito bom food. Paulo showed me around in Rio. The room and the bathroom were nice and clean. Simple and a good price!

The owner was very nice and helpful, the place is nice and for good price.
The location is not the safest place to walk around and is not very easily accesible by walk. But if you dont mind going by Uber, it will be fine.

Paulo was very kind and hospitable. He accompagnied us the first day to take a cab. There's also a train station near by Great location if you want to assist to the Carnival (only 10minutes by cab)
