Really enjoyed my stay. Breakfast in the mornings was fantastic, and had many options. Location was also great. Close to the beach, the metro, and a shopping mall if you needed anything.
AC stopped working in the room, and there are certain places in the hostel that are set up as chilling areas, but the wifi range doesn't extend there, or is very weak.

Great location in Botafogo, close to metro line and felt safe as a solo traveler. Cute breakfast with fresh cakes every day, nice outdoor area. The 2 cats of the hostel are very nice and social! The WiFi worked very well. The kitchen is great, clean and very organised, it was probably my favourite part!
The staff wasn't always welcoming or helpful, sometimes it looked like more of a chore for them to be there, not a very social hostel. Some staff members were great though! Shared bathroom and toilets are dirty, cleaner seems to come every day but clearly it is needed more often, hand soap missing for days and not replaced even when asked to the staff multiple times, drains blocked and not cleaned. The 4 bed female dorm is very humid and mouldy, air con wasn't working to help drying out the room. not thoroughly cleaned ( rubbish left underneath my bed that I had to take out myself), matress and pillows are old and stained and need replacing. Needs a few small adjustments to make it comfortable, like little bedside tables, clothes racks or hangers, plugs close to each bed etc

Good position.
For the price we expected a bit more ... shared toilets were quite bad, especially the men ones (smelly and mold growing). The general state of the hostel was not top ... the room smelled bad

The place was really nice, excellent location! The breakfast was very generous (good cake!) and the receptionists were super nice :)
I woke up several times because of the staff talking very loud and even screaming, that was the only annoying thing. However, it didnt ruin my stay.

The hostel is decorated in a cute style. The room was spacious and the staff all kind. The aircon was great for the hot nights
There were a lot of mosquitoes in the common areas but know this can be hard to help. Think mosquito spray should be more accessible all around to prevent bites

The bed was comfortable and overall clean. Very good predisposition from the personal. Location was good, this is a safe neighborhood. Internet connection in the bedroom was good enough, but not so good in the common areas.
My view was to a wall where people were passing by so I had to keep my window closed at all times. There were some things that would have been nice, like lamps next to the bed. Breakfast wasn't included, and thought 25R was too expensive for what they had to offer.
