Very Good
Fritz, Rosangela and all the staff are really exceptional. Location is also exceptional with astonishing views and very easy access to the beaches (about 5 min by car to Barra da Tijuca). I did not try to get to Joatinga on foot, tho. Can't tell what is like. The bathroom in my room was great and the bed was really comfortable.
Room 4 has its window overlooking the kitchen and the French doors to a kind of dining room. No airflow whatsoever, and if you want some privacy, you need to keep all curtains closed at all times. The room was therefore either boiling or freezing as the air conditioning is central and pre-set. Certainly not a room for those who are looking for some peace and quiet, as the surroundings of the room are really high traffic ( I was there for NY eve, it's important to highlight that) Perfect for people who are in large groups just looking for a place to crash as it's great value for money. Fritz and Rosangela, however, exceeded my expectations in managing to have the other guests (which were part of a massive group travelling together) keep the noise to an acceptable level throughout my staying.
