Location
Everything else! I specifically requested a quiet room because I had just traveled internationally and needed to sleep. Instead, I could hear everything in the hallway and even the guests next door taking a shower. I had to wear noise canceling headphones just to sleep. The room also didn’t feel clean, the pillows were terrible, and the mattress had a huge sag near the head of the bed that made me feel like I was almost sitting on the base. I booked this hotel based on its four-star rating and was extremely disappointed. It honestly felt like a negative-star experience.

Sono stata ospite per due settimane e ho apprezzato la spaziosità della camera 617. La cosa che ho apprezzato di più dell'hotel sono stati i servizi offerti: pranzo, snack e cena possono essere serviti in camera ed è possibile mandare i vestiti in lavanderia a un prezzo ragionevole. Il frigo bar era ben fornito e l'armadio conteneva una cassaforte molto facile da usare. Lo staff è stato sempre molto gentile, in particolare la ragazza che puliva la camera e i ragazzi della colazione. Tutti facevano il possibile per farti sentire a tuo agio. Era la mia prima volta a Rio e mi sono sentita al sicuro in quella zona, vicina a due fermate della metropolitana (Largo do Machado e Catete) e a pochi passi dalla Praia do Flamengo (con la metropolitana si raggiungono rapidamente Copacabana e Ipanema). Nei dintorni ci sono moltissimi servizi, come farmacie, negozi e ristoranti.
Penso che l'hotel meriterebbe una ristrutturazione, compresa la televisione in camera, che era molto datata e la cui immagine non era nitida. Purtroppo, alcune sere sentivo chiaramente le conversazioni e la televisione dei vicini di camera anche fino a tarda notte. Certo, questo dipende dal buon senso degli ospiti, però si potrebbe fare qualcosa per l'insonorizzazione. Infine, nei primi giorni il Wi-Fi si disconnetteva dopo un po' e, ogni volta che lasciavo la camera, al mio rientro dovevo effettuare nuovamente il login per accedere a Internet. Nei giorni successivi, però, ha funzionato costantemente.

Time da recepção bastante gentil e educados. Nos acomodaram no quarto mesmo antes do horário previsto do checkin
Limpeza horrivel. Quarto muito sujo, chao do quarto e do banheiro gorduroso. Roupas de cama ruins. Café da manhã com comida média, mas mobiliário ruim, tv alta e com som de má qualidade.

Excellent location in a nice neighbourhood. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is great! The room was comfortable and had a spa bath.

I arrived earlier than planned but they were able to accommodate me with a room. The on site parking was very nice as it was near the checkin desk. The location was good and a short walk to the embassy.
I had requested a large double bed but instead received 3 single beds. Thebreakfast was pretty ordinary and the coffee was weak. There were no windows just a light shaft.

The location it’s great. Flamengo is a very good zone, very close to Botafogo and Copacabana. There are very good restaurants in the same street and 2 metro stations. The breakfast it’s 10/10.

Very spacious room with comfy bed. Decent breakfast and cleaning lady was taking care of room everyday.
It would be great if room was little renovated. No proper window inside. Bath is little old. I was struggling a little bit with WiFi. Also, my cell phone with brazilian SIM card had no service inside. Many homeless people around but I didnt feel unsafe. Hotel could be a little bit more english friendly and provide guests with piece of paper with all most important information.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was a nice highlight — good variety, well served, and available from 6 to 10am. Bathroom was also great, with good shower, toilet, and a handheld bidet, which is not always common. The location is convenient, though access can be a bit tricky due to the narrow street.
Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi in the room barely worked and was very slow when it did. Cell signal was also weak, and there was no business center available, which made it nearly impossible to work. The mattress could be much better, and while the garage is quite tight, it’s understandable given the area.
