The location is great. The hosts are friendly and very helpful. The studio, though basic is well equipped and has a little balcony.
The bathroom especially the shower area needs renovation. There is significant noise coming from outside.

This place was wonderful, we would highly recommend staying here. The area is perfect, the apartment has everything you could wish for, and most of all Maria was incredibly kind and welcoming.

Wow, Maria, what a special lady she is. In all my many many years of travel never have i meet a host who is so hospitable and helpful. On arrival met me, went through the keys , the doors, all the appliance and nothing I mean nothing was left out so when Maria left me after check in I knew what to do. Maria also directed me to the supermarket, two short blocks away as well as the subway which was also two short blocks past the supermarket. Maria gave me a travel card that could be top up for use as well as the discount card for the supermarket which saved me money. What was also super impressive was Maria WhatsApp me, the day before, I gave my flight details an also Maria then provided me with where to get taxi at the airport, the official one so I was not over charged. During my stay I had a fall on a footpath going to the tour bus some injury to both knees and Marias offer of assistance was immediate. The Flat. It is a studio. It had bug fridge and freezer. It has a gas oven and two hotplates and all the essential equipment. It has a washer, no dryer nut I did not need it clothes were dry within a couple of hours of washing placed on line on the apartment veranda or in the washing room. The bed was super comfy as were the pillows, lien was of very good quality and clean. Location: Already spoke about supermarket and subway ( which was easy to use and 15 minutes t Rio). The beauty of this location two short blocks and the beach which stretched over 3 kms an excellent beach with others not far. Copacabana was two stops away on the subway. So was there for over week had a great stay cooked a lot of my own meals and as I said to start, Mari just fantastic never found better host
only minor as always out but an English speaking channel on TV would have been nice

The location was perfect, we were able to walk everywhere and Maria was amazing. She was so welcoming and helpful, giving us suggestions of places to go and answering any questions that came up during the week.

Great location with easy access to beach, lake, metro and restaurants.
Apartment was bijoux; nicely decorated and the balcony (albeit small) was very welcome.

The location is great, easy access to beach, shops and cafes.
The host was very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The flat is not soundproof, we stayed for 4 nights and were woken every night by various loud street noises.

What a great stay. Maria and her son met us at the property to hand over the keys and carry our bags upstairs. We were presented with a bottle of wine, snacks, soft drinks and coffee pods for the coffee machine. It didn't finish there. On finding out that our adaptor was the incorrect one, Maria spent nearly one hour walking the streets with me to buy the correct one. Wifi was fast. There is a nice little balcony to have a coffee in the morning and there is even a washing machine. This property is 5mins walk from the beach, the same from local shops and restaurants and three minutes walk from a beautiful lake for a morning walk.

Such a great stay. The owners are wonderful and provide lots of information to help you get the best from your visit. The facilities were great, we were even able to do our washing and watch netflix on the smart TV. Very fast WiFi. Location is great, very safe area of Ipanema. The beach is 5 minutes away.

Very clean, private and quiet for its location. Had everything o needed including wine, soft drinks, coffee, water and snacks left by the host.
