Everything was perfect from the moment we booked it. The communication with the host is easy and efficient before and most important during the stay. Marcella went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and safe. I know everyone wants to know about safety! So we absolutely loved the area! Whatever you need, you have in the street… walking distance really nice restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket, beach. There’s always security 24/7 (super nice by the way).
As we were there for NYE, Marcella thought about everything and left us a bottle of Prosecco and two glasses “happy new year” so we could take it to the beach with us. That was so lovely!
The truth is we didn’t want to leave… and for sure we will be back again!

Location was incredible and marcella and Bruno were absolutely lovely. The apartment was incredibly clean and had more than anticipated in terms of extras e.g. Beach umbrella and chairs, extra bedding and beach towels. There was also a huge array of kitchen items. The building is really nice and we liked that there was a doorman there 24/7. All of the doormen were super friendly and we felt really safe there as 2 women travellers. The door also locked really well with a deadlock. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend 10/10

We had a wonderful stay at Bem Ipanema. Marcella's place is super well located, only a few minutes walking from the beach (Posto 10) and close to supermarkets, drugstores, bakeries, restaurants, and shops in the very lively Ipanema. You're in the best place to stay in Rio and close to everything you might need during that stay. The apartment is super well equipped and has everything you need likewise. It was also spotlessly clean! Communication with Marcella was great before, during, and after our stay. Check-in and Check-out were super easy and smooth. Marcella was always very in responsive and approachable. Kudos also to the staff of building. Super nice and helpful Guys! Definitely a 10/10 experience. Would 100% stay at Bem Ipanema again.

Wonderful
The location was excellent. Very close to the beach and in a safe area with many shops and cafes. The metro is also in easy walking distance. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious, and the Marcella and her son were very hospitable and helpful.

The reception by Marcella and Bruno was very friendly, we felt at home straight away. The apartment is good in size and decorated in a loving way. Location is perfect in the middle of Ipanema life, with supermarket next door. All is very clean, and there is a doorman downstairs.
We will surely return when back in Rio! ❤️

Marcella and Bruno are very kind and helpful. The apartment was top clean and equipped very well. There was nothing we we're missing. The place makes a safe impression. There is a receptionist downstairs, 24 hours, 7 days a week. The apartment doesn't offer any spectacular views as the windows are facing the yard, but you can sleep well. The place is absolutely quiet. And that's important value after a busy day. Because don't forget, Ipanema lives intensively day and night.

Great location in Ipanema. 2 blocks to a very nice section of the beach where there are multiple places to rent beach chairs and umbrellas. The apartment was extremely clean and well appointed. The bedroom was great for two people and the overall layout of the apartment was excellent. There are smart TVs with Netflix, YouTube and cable in both the bedroom and the living room. The wifi was very good. There is a large couch, dining room table with 4 chairs, a desk to work from, good lighting throughout. Very comfortable. There are 2 split aircon units, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Also, two ceiling fans. Plenty of outlets. There is a good sized full kitchen with small table, big refrigerator, water purifier, coffee maker, etc. The bathroom was nice, with large shower with plenty of hot water and pressure. There is a clothes washing machine and a drying rack, 2 beach chairs, beach umbrella. Marcella even supplied snacks, soda and cold water in the refrigerator. Marcella seems to have thought of just about everything to provide an enjoyable stay. The 24 hour doormen were very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our bags in a storage area before check-in time. Marcella and her son Bruno are very friendly and made us feel right at home. We felt totally safe in the apartment.
The payment for the apartment and the required security deposit was in cash. There is a bank on the block so no problem getting cash. The windows face the wall of a building next door so there isn't much of a view or direct sunlight. We didn't spend much time during the day in the apartment so not a big deal.

The apartment is well equipped and comfortable for a beach holiday. We were very welcomed by Marcella and her son, and they left everything we needed. Location is perfect. Walkable distance to the Lagoa, to the Ipanema beach, and Shopping Leblon.

Marcella and Bruno are perfect hosts! They welcomed me so nicely. The location of the appartment is ideal in Ipenama, very close from the beach, shops and restaurants.

Location, location, location! This place is awesome!! Not only it is located in a safe neighborhood, but also it is close to key points of the city. Close to the beach, the lagoon, quick ride to Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf, Copacabana, great mall and delicious restaurants walking distance!
Also, the apartment looks exactly like the pictures. Clean, beautiful furniture, and well organized.
Finally, the hosts are fantastic people!
When I come back to Rio, I'll definitely stay there again.
Everything was great! No complaints whatsoever.

The apartment was perfect and safe with a 24 hour doorman. Equipped with A/C, snacks, coffee, water and super clean and comfortable. Located in the heart of Ipanema surrounded by shops, restaurants and two blocks from the beach. I highly recommend Marcella's apartment and will book this place again in the future!
