Loved the staff more than anything. Was able to connect with a lot of them, but my favorites were Hugo and Matheus! Beautiful and kind people. Would come back just for them.
The fact that is an ultra party hostel and a lot of construction noise from very early morning. The front desk would start music very loudly at 7am. I couldn’t believe it as most people are sleeping. Maybe they wanted us to wake up that early and continue the party? I booked a private room thinking it would be more peaceful, but the music was still too loud. Even with headphones I could still hear the music. Please be mindful of your guests.

+ Amazing staff, amazing activities, amazing vibes, this is the reason why you book this hostel
+ Good spacious bar (gonna be renovated soon)

+ Nice guests (good hostel attracts good people)

- Rooms are not so comfortable (shaking beds)
- Difficult to access lockers on the floor
- Prices already very high end of January before carnival
- Construction noises (will be done in February probably)

The staff and the location was good
The place is a mess, filthy and ALL the beds in my room where filled with bed bugs. People complained and left immediately, but they did nothing, continued pilling people to get their vacations scrued with bites and bacteria

Great staff. Very supportive and willing to attend the needs of guests. The vibe of the place is unique, which is great to make new friends. Well located. Close to many restaurants, stores and public transport.

Cool vibe to the hostel. They were building an expansion while I was there that looks like it would improve it even more
Beds were firm but you can’t really complain with the good value + I’ve heard other hostels in Rio had worse beds
